She shut her door to the world,
Just like the same way when,
She closed her eyes,
And never opened them again.
She slept soundly,
Her loving one's tears not heard.
They called for her by her name,
Unlike the others, who's called her a slut, a nerd.
She'd tried to ignore all the comments,
She'd tried to turn a blind eye to them all,
But now her lifeless eyes are closed,
And she can't see anything at all.
She'd tried not to feel any pain,
She'd tried not to get hurt.
Now she can't feel anything at all,
Now she can't be touched by the words they blurt.
She played life fair,
But people played with the stings of her heart.
She never broke the rules,
But they broke her apart.
But they never had to face the penalty,
She did.....
