You extended a hand,
And I reached out for it.
Tripped over tied laces,
And embarrassed of it.But you were sweet and kind,
It was a cute gesture.
You helped me up,
And invited me round for dinner. We ate, laughed,
Joked around, made puns.
We chatted and blabbered,
As though we were the only ones.Dinners, late night chats,
Strolling the beach, feet sinking in the sand.
So many adventures,
Just 'cause you offered me a hand. What a little gesture can do.....😊
