I think you're taking the wrong meaning,
Of the things I do.
Now the consequences are harsh,
'Cause of the things you do.
You give me angry glances,
You talk to who I thought was your enemy,
You use to be so sweet,
But now, you downright ignore me.
Was it me who made you sad?
Was it me who started this fight?
At least tell me, not them,
'Cause I'm the one who has to make it right.
We'd sit together at lunch,
Together, we'd walk down the stairs,
But now you leave me here alone,
And walk with the other girls in pairs.
How did this happen?
Together, we were happy,
Was it me who started this?
Was it me??
It's such a shame when you think you have a best friend for life, but then one day they just leave you alone. Then they talk about what you did to other people and it creates a bad impression about you and you're just left alone, even though you must've done nothing wrong.
" Tell my mistakes to me, not them. 'Cause I have to correct them, not anyone else"
If I've done something wrong then tell me, then at least we have a better chance at sorting it out....
