Up and up the stairs
We go.
What's waiting for us,
No one will know.
Will you show me fear
Or will you show me bravery?
Will you calm me down,
Or will you start to worry?
Will you back out now,
Or will you step higher to the top?
Will you walk, bounce and jump?
Or walk, slouch and drop?
Will you eventually give up,
And roll back down?
Or will you hike to the top,
Without a tear, without a frown.
Will you always be there for me?
Will you catch me when I fall?
Before we start this journey of love,
I need to know it all.....
