Cage

Reading of a person stuck in prison,
Or a bird kept in it's cage,
Brings tears of sorrow and anger,
Every time I turn the page.

Their lives are terrible,
But not like I live a better one anyway.
I stare at four blank walls,
Same place, same time, everyday.

The door is locked, the key is gone,
No windows are there either.
No heavy objects left inside,
To help me escape this torture.

No matter what I do,
No matter if I shout or rage.
I'm not going to be let out of this prison,
I'm forever stuck in this cage.
