SUMMARY |

❝I wanna know.❞

Miriam Ahn never did believe in love. Stories were stories, and the one of her parents had ended in a terrible divorce. She spent her childhood travelling between California and South Korea, a mediator of letters and official papers between her parents. So, what was the love in there?
At the age of sixteen, she experienced her first heartbreak with a boy from her high school, the bold and talented Yi Songmin. He asked her out on a date and ended up humiliating as she waited for him at a small snack bar by the school.
At the age of twenty-six, she had forgotten about love and what it really meant, only associating with it when it came to her songs and her acting. Not once, did she think about love when it came out of her career.
At the age of thirty, her chance to appear in a Hollywood movie arises when she is cast as Jennifer Takeda, or Hazmat, in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
As her fame rises and her heart begins to ache, Miriam Ahn is going to have to learn what is love.

• Miriam Ahn is fully Korean. Her Korean name is Soohwa; her parents and those that knew her from her girl group days call her that. Miriam is her English name, and she mostly uses that when she is in the US or Europe promoting her movies.
• Her parents divorced when she was two. She spent elementary and part of middle school in California, then she moved to Korea with her father and finished school there. As she promoted with a girl group, she also studied theatre and film at Hanyang University.
• She gets along more with her father than her mother.
• She is fluent in Korean, English, and Japanese. She knows conversational in Mandarin Chinese.
• Other than acting and singing, she also enjoys to cook. When people come over to her place, she cooks everything. She also likes to post her creations on IG.
• She meets Chris during auditions for the movie, and they have a chemistry that both of them deny with their utmost power. The cast members and friends in common (they do not have to be famous) try to make them go to dates by planning to go to this place and only them two arrive.
• The members of Mamamoo are her members in this fictional girl group.
• After the movie premiers, the fans ship Miriam and Chris because of their scenes.
• Jeniffer Takeda is a girl kept in secrecy at SHIELD HQ because her body literally leaks radiation. When she was younger, when her powers began, she walked around with a hazmat suit, given the nickname Hazmat. When SHIELD (HYDRA) finds her, they told her parents she would be helped in their facility. In fact, she was being experimented on because SHIELD/HYDRA had never seen something like this. They lie to her and tell her they are trying to find a cure, so she stays in their facilities, rooms especially designed for her.
While SHIELD is taken over publicly by HYDRA, she is liberated by several agents who give her a specialised suit that contains her radiation so that no one can be harmed. She fights her way out, eventually meeting the one and only Captain America. She can fully seem him through her mask, but he can only see a mask of gold and black, a person who could be working for HYDRA. They begin to fight, and Jennifer begins to explain that she is one of the good guys. Cap is like "how can I be sure?!" and knocks her mask/helmet off to see a frightened woman. She quickly pushes herself away because, remember, she lEAKS RADIATION AND SHE CANT CONTROL IT.
They fight their way out together, and she is the one that makes the building collapse. Cap finds her afterwards, under a bunch of rubble, with the suit all broken and blood surrounding her.
She escapes with Cap and Friends, decides that it's better with them because she doesn't want anyone else to be in danger from her.
Plot twist: Cap is immune to her radiation.
• Their publicists want the image of Jennifer and Steve to continue even after the movie, so they make Chris and Miriam hang out more. Publicly. Which makes fans and news outlets follow them everywhere, to see if the famous pair are actually a pair.
• A bunch of shenanigans, co workers literally trying to get them together, friends constantly asking, and the pair are like "um no"
• Miriam is hesitant when she begins to grow feelings for Chris because of the constant heart breaks she has gone through in her life.
• No, Chris is not the one who helps her believe in love again. In fact, it's Miriam who realised that it's best to take risks than stay in her own little bubble for many years more.
