As I turn around I see Veronica walk into Pop's.
"M, can we talk?" Veronica asks
"Sure V. Stay put. T, your in charge. Don't let Fangs move." I say to the her as I get up and walk to Veronica.
"What's up?" I asks
"Archie told me what Betty said to you and you need to know that I don't feel that way about you. Yes, I was a bit upset that you canceled our girls night to hang out with your new serpent friend but, it's fine. After what Betty said to you I understand why you didn't want to hangout that night." Veronica says
"Thank you for not being so mean about me canceling our girls night. V, well we're talking I need to tell you something." I say
"What is it M?"
"You should sit down." I say as she take a seat in the booth as I sit across from them.
"I'm transferring to southside high as of Tuesday."
"O...ok. Why?"
"I don't feel safe with Reggie around. At least if I'm at Southside High I'll be safe." I say
"Ok. If you're safe there. Then you should be there. I don't want to see you hurt anymore." Veronica says as she gets up and hugs me
"Your still one of my best friends." She whispers
"That's good to know." I say with a smile
"What happened to him?"
"Fangs, he was jumped by Reggie." I say as I walk back up to Sweets and look down at Fangs with a sad smile.
"We should take him to the hospital." I say
"No. I'm fine. Just a bit scratched up that's all." Fangs says
"Are you sure Fangs?" I ask
"Yeah Mariah. I'm sure I'll be fine. Let's head to the Wyrm." Fangs says as he stands up
"I'll take you there. Just give me a second." I say as they walk outside.
"I'm glade we had a chance to talk V."
"So am I. Archie also told me about your dad. Are you ok?"
"Yeah.... only thing is that we think my mom is distributing jingle jangle."
"Why do you think that?" Veronica asks
"Jellybean. She came to Riverdale by herself. Mom will be here to get her in a few days."
"And your dad?"
"He'll be out soon." I say with a smile.
"That's great. Let me know if you need anything M. I mean it."
"I know V. I better get going. I'll see you Monday." I say as I hug her before heading out to my bike.
"Let's get you guys back." I say as I hop on Jugs bike and head to the Wyrm....
