Carl's POV
We got a letter from our father informing what happened.

Logan was walking and then she ran back and got me.

"Carl Michonne and Rosita are leaving we can sneak out" Logan said.

We got out and we went into the woods.

Logan and I were running and pushing each other just being twins.

We soon saw a walker impaled on a stick trying to get a bag.

We saw someone coming up to the walker and killing it.

"Hey" Logan called. I nudged her but the man heard us.

"It was my dad. There -- There were warning shots above your head. He wasn't shooting at you. I'm Carl and this is my twin sister Logan" I said.

The man looked at us.

"Siddiq." Siddiq said.

"Food and water." Logan said

"Why?" Siddiq asked.

"I guess you -- you were talking about something your mom said about helping people. And my mom told me that you got to do what's right. It's hard to know what that is sometimes, but sometimes it's not." I said.

Logan threw the bag of food and water at Siddiq.

Siddiq drank the water bottle really quick.

"Thanks." Siddiq said.

"Glad I found you." I said.

"You were looking for me?" Siddiq asked.

"Yeah, I -- I mean we scavenged the sardines, other stuff. Me my sister and my dad, we're in a community.I'm gonna ask you a few questions. I need you to answer honestly, okay?" I asked.

"Okay." Siddiq said.

"How many walkers have you killed? I know it's hard to keep track --" I said.

"237" Siddiq said.

"Really?" Logan asked.

"Give or take a couple." Siddiq said.

"How many people have you killed?" I asked

"One." Siddiq said.

"Why?" I asked.

"The dead tried to kill him, but they didn't." Siddiq said

"You're making walker traps." Logan said.

"Is that how you killed so many?" I asked.

"It's -- It's only part of it.
My mom thought or hoped that killing them would free their souls.
You know? Maybe -- Maybe she was right." Siddiq Asia's.

"Doing that, doesn't that just make things harder for you while you're trying to survive?" Logan asked.

"I -- I don't know.I But you gotta -- you gotta honor your parents, right?" Siddiq asked

"If I was honoring my dad, we wouldn't be talking right now.
And definitely wouldn't bring you back to my community." I said.
We were walking in the woods  We found walkers and I tried to get Logan to come and help but Logan stood back she didn't want to help fight.

"For your mom." I said.
I got pushed by a walker and I tried so hard to shoot them with my gun. Logan ran and put a knife through them. I got up and I was winded. Logan looked at me.

"You okay?" Siddiq asked.

"Yeah." I said

"You could've left." Siddiq said.

"I'm responsible for you now. That's how it works." I said.

"I don't want to make any trouble.
Your dad didn't want anything to do with me." Siddiq said.

"He didn't, but sometimes kids have to find their own way to show their parents the way." Logan said.

We walked back to Alexandria
