You yawned as you sat up from your bed, watching the sunlight stream the the curtain that was being moved by the slight morning breeze. You looked out it, your [eye color] orbs still as dull as that night years ago... You shook your head. 'No. I refuse to think of that night. If I do, then everything will come crashing down tonight.' You stood and stretched before getting dressed in your usual uniform and walked down the streets.

It seemed as if everyone was faceless. You would pass by people, and you would never see anyone's eyes. Their voices seemed almost none-existent as they all blended together. Every once in a while, you would see one certain face. It was scarred, and he had these piercing green eyes. For a couple of moments, you two would stare at each other; you would then blush and whip your head away, suddenly feeling shy and flustered. It wasn't very often that this would happen, though.

You looked at yourself in the mirror, gently tugging at the uniform to make sure that it fit nicely and no wrinkles that were noticeable. You then slipped your shoes on, grabbed your back, and continued out the door. You walked down the street, already blending into the crowds of people in the large city. It would be impossible for anyone to see you, but he and the others could always do the impossible. While waiting for the subway, you tried to mess with your hair, trying to put it up into a ponytail. It was always nice to have it out of the way of your face while you were working. While you were dazing off and putting your hair up, someone bumped into you. You looked up in shock.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, Miss." His voice was soft and gentle. His forest green eyes gently pierced your [eye color] ones. Usually, human interaction seemed like torture to you, but he seemed so soft and gentle that it didn't bother you. He bit his lip, as if he were holding something back. Before you could ask, your train arrived.

"Oh, I have to go, but it was great to see you! I hope that we can meet up some time, again!" You turned and started to run onto the train.

It must have been your imagination, but you could've sworn that you heard him say something like, "Don't worry. I'm always close so we can meet up." It must have just been the crowd, though, right? You shook your head, making your ponytail whip around like crazy. You held onto the handle for the ride, About half an hour later, you arrived at the office.

'Well, just another boring day.'
