*After school*

I left my last class of the day which was Math and and not soon after I was greeted by Taehyung who was waiting for me by my locker.

"Hi."
I said In a kind of sweet voice looking up at him with smiling eyes and mouth.

"You should smile more, you have a beautiful smile."

"Yeah right."

I rolled my eyes.

"You really do!"

"Stopppp lying."

I giggled and he took ahold of my hand with his and I leaned my head on his shoulder.

I got a few glares as we were walking by.

"Mind if I come over?" He asked and I instantly got sweaty and nervous.

"uhhh.... No."

I bit on my lip and shook my head slowly and gently.

"Ah okay, another time?"

He asked in a hoping voice and I smiled with soft kind eyes which made him smile back at me.

*At home*

I sighed as I walked inside the house getting ready to get yelled at but it never came.

I sighed of relief and began to run up the stairs before I got stopped by my dads voice.

"Solbi? Can I talk to you?"

Surprisingly it was a soft tone, something I haven't heard in a long time after mom died.

"Uhm sure."

I said because I couldn't really say no, I was too afraid of what would happen.

I walked back down the stairs following him Into the livingroom where we took a seat on the couch.

I figured this would probably be really important since he didn't yell at me about it.

It was a few awkward moments of silence before he broke it.

"I'm sorry Solbi."

I was shocked at the words that I had just heard come from his mouth.

I had never heard those words before.

"F-for what?"

I asked pretending not to notice because again afraid of what he would say if I told him the truth.

"For everything I've done to you since your mother died, I'm sorry."

"Oh." I replied to his apology looking down at my lip biting down on my lip out of nervousness before I looked back up st him.

"It's okay dad, it was probably just stressful."

I could see real regret in his eyes and it hurt my heart and made it ache.

He really was sorry.

"No it's not okay I shouldnt have taken my problems out on you."

He shook his head as he said that and I looked around.

"I forgive you."

He looked at me and I gave a soft smile.

He gave a small smile back and then spoke back up.

"I've found someone that I think I am ready to try, but I wanted to go through you first."

I looked at him with kind of a shocked look on my face.

He always used to say.

"If anything every happened to your mother it would take one hell of a woman to make me love again."

I came back into reality and looked at him.

"Of course I'm okay with it, she must be really amazing." I said referring to what I had just got done thinking about.

"She is, I want the best, for me and you, and she has a son, that I think is in your grade too."

"Ah really? Do you know his name?"

"No not really she never mentioned his name, just that she had one."

I nodded at his response and I grabbed my bag again picking it up along with myself throwing it on my back.

"Well I have homework but I'll be down for dinner."

I gave him a nod as he gave one back as I walked upstairs into the room shutting the door behind me.

Still shocked at wha had just happened downstairs I slowly fade deep into thought as i pull out my homework and books.

It took him this long to realize this?

That he was hurting me?

I shrugged it off.

At least it was all sorted out now.

But I wonder about his new girlfriend.

And who her son is?
