When the next day came around, Levi could confirm that he was going crazy. All he wanted to do was clear his mind for today until the time came when him and Eren go to the hill as he stalled in the store he was currently standing in, walking extra slow and pretending like he was still contemplating what to buy, as since he couldn't stay at Hanji's he attempted to do anything that would keep him away from his house for as long as possible. Since it was the weekend, who knows what his uncle was doing, and Levi still remembers the words that were spat at him before he slammed the door of his front house to leave.

"You low-life scum, you're doing nothing with your life! No wonder your mother wanted to leave you."

Those comments thrown his way by the man he hated to know didn't even get to him at this point. He had heard them since he started living with him, and has learned to get used to them.

He reached up to skim his fingers lightly over his cheek, hissing as he felt the soreness already starting to form there from where the physical hate was let on him. He learned to try his best and not let that get to him as well.

He rolled his eyes, gripping onto the pain killers in his hand tightly before walking to the check out with his usual emotionless look plastered on his face, reaching to the side isle where the drinks were located and picking up a water bottle. The cashier eyed him suspiciously, noticing the bruise on his face and subtly checking the pills he bought which Levi noticed and scoffed at, before the man rang the items up and put the bottle of medicine and water in a bag for him. The raven snatched the bag from him quite harshly and the man glared back before Levi turned and walked out of the store, silently noting to himself to definitely not shop there anymore.

He sighed, walking on his own down the sidewalk --excluding the many other civilians walking past him to their own destination-- with a lazy posture as he opened the bottle and popped a couple of pain killers in his mouth, pedestrians glancing at him worryingly thinking he was some kind of drug addict and ushering away from him. Levi wanted to chuckle at their behavior, thinking it was amusing that they thought so lowly of him when they didn't even know what was going on in his life. But, he ignored it, taking a gulp of his water and continuing to walk down the busy road without a care in the world for where he was going.

Eren groaned as he walked downstairs with his lids shut and eye patch off, rubbing at his eyes as he had just woken up from a very deep and long sleep. He had definitely taken advantage of the weekend, it was already noon and his eyelids dropped over his multi-colored irises while dragging his feet along the ground beneath him.

At first he was stuck on the thought that this would be a usual weekend of doing nothing except his mother possibly making short stop to the store to get groceries like she usually does every now and then, but he was then reminded that something was in fact happening today, and his chest fluttered a bit when he remembered Levi's offering from yesterday. He didn't know when they would be going, but he assumed Levi would just text him whenever he wanted to go, so he let it be for now.

He walked toward the kitchen where he assumed his mother was located making lunch --or in this case, a late breakfast-- as always, with a slightly more excited step in his feet than prior, looking forward to going out later.
