"Hey."

And at that moment, the constricting air that once surrounded our chained minds seemed to lift just the slightest bit.

I smiled a smile that was almost unnoticeable, amused at our greeting that was spoken in unison. As I examined his appearance -which basically looked the same as always- I noticed one small difference, there was a large black camera that rested on his chest connected to straps that hung around his pale neck. My smile widened at the sight of it, and he caught it, showing the slightest curl in the corner of his lips for a split second that I almost didn't notice, the usual idea of him being so indifferent making my mind automatically catch the slightest change that told me he wasn't.

He raised his arm up, the bag I noticed earlier resting in his hand and the items inside -which I had yet to discover what they were- shifting around. "I brought supplies." He stated, flicking his gaze to the plastic carrier. "And your camera! That's perfect!" I exclaimed, the tension from before and who he was to me completely vanishing from my thoughts and excitement filling the gap.

"Oh, yeah." He mumbled, looking down at the black technological object resting on him. He grabbed the bottom of it, examining it for a second before looking back up at me. "Are you sure it was alright for me to come? I mean, it took a while for you to respond." He hesitantly took a step forward with caution, his eyes flicking over the room and taking in the house. I could tell by the way he looked around that he was trying to see if anyone else's presence was before us. "Oh, yeah it's fine. My family isn't here right now, actually, they just left." I replied, scratching the back of my head and leading him towards the kitchen where he followed me.

"Do you want anything to drink?" I asked, wanting to be as polite as possible. But really, the idea of him in my house which was now a reality made me more anxious than before. "No, I'm okay." It was a simple reply -which I was familiar with as that was usually my reply to a lot of questions while I was in situations that were considered awkward- but I just nodded, and got myself some water instead.

"Shall we?" I acted in an exaggerated tone as I pointed our way up the stairs, trying to lighten the mood, and he rolled his eyes at my childish act which caused me to giggle. As I walked up the stairs, I noticed his steps were falling back a bit, like he was hesitant. I could see why, I would feel the same way if I were him instead. I also feel kind of odd having him here after everything that's happened, but there was also a comfortable feeling lingering above us. I'm sure once we start the project, everything will be normal -I hope.

As we came to a stop in front of the door to my room, I braced myself. Will he think I'm weird for having tons of posters covering my walls? Some say the style of your room speaks your personality, I personally don't know if I agree but who knows. As I glanced at him in the corner of my eye, I noticed his expression was twisting into one of confusion at my hesitancy to enter my room, so before he thought anything further on the matter I quickly opened the door and stepped in, trying to ignore the mild anxious feeling. It's just a room, calm down, Eren.

As we entered the four walled room, he examined it, nodding as he read over the many band and anime posters littered on the walls. I eased my lip between my teeth -something I've noticed has become a habit of mine- and cleared my throat. "So.. How do you want to start?" It took him a moment to register my question and provide his attention towards me, humming before he let out an 'oh'. "Hm, well, for starters we should actually plan out what we are going to do. All we did in class a couple days ago was spew a few words for an idea." He responded with a snort -no smile added, and my eyes widened at the sound of it. I never thought I'd here that noise come out of him, as stoic as his appearance seems. But, I've only known the guy for a few days, I know nothing about him other than what my mind has assumed.
