I always enjoy and am intrigued by stories about illusions and insanity and false perceptions. I think it hits something intrinsic about humanity; we'll never truly know anything outside of our own perceptions, and there's no way to be sure that our perceptions are true in reality. (And is reality perception?) It's simultaneously such a relatable and accessible topic and incredibly philosophical.
I think this is a good ward to have on hand with that topic, and I also like how similar it is to "phantom," which is both an example of the aforementioned idea and a separate concept with modern connotations.

This is the last chapter until further notice. Let me know if you're like a new book with more words or a new book with a similar concept. This has been fun and productive for me, although a bit stressful at times. I'm open to doing this or something similar in the future, especially if someone else wants it as well.
