In my humble opinion, everlasting has become a grossly overused word in romance and fantasy literature. While it is a pretty word, it's been used in the same fashion so many times that it's infuriating to me. It's like when a really good song comes out, but it's played so often that you start to want to smash your head on a wall every time it comes on.
