Harm

They tried to warn me
of his intention,
I would not listen
to their words.
I thought them foolish
in their trepidation,
I'd follow my own mind
and now it seems,

They were right all along
about what he wanted,
they knew where this would go.
And so now I must follow,
In his fateful steps,
deep we must go
into the realms
of hell down below.

I never thought that
he'd cause me harm,
or perhaps I did and
just didn't care?
Whatever perils now
lay ahead,
would probably lead
to me being dead.

I should have listened,
I should have realised,
that my own stubborn actions
could cost me my life.

I should have listened, I should have realised, that my own stubborn actionscould cost me my life
