Chapter 17: Home

Alexis POV***

Was I to feel bad that jaimee saw me kissing Emily, I sure didn't feel bad. Instead I felt really annoyed,her friend kept flirting with me and kept showing up wherever I was making conversation, she's cute and sexy maybe if she wasn't Jamiee's friend I would have entertained her but she was and I wasn't interested, I yearned for jaimee and the fact that I couldn't have her was making me force myself to be with Emily,she was no jaimee but I guess she would have to do. It was close to the ending of the day and I was back at the bathroom with a headache,thoughts of jaimee swarming me,thinking of when she was at my place how comfortable she was there and how great of a company she was,thinking of us fucking and how jaimee ignited something within me that I didn't know was there, I had to admit I liked Jaimee and I wanted her again but I had to be accept she wasn't mine and she was married to a guy,I didn't think I wanted to see her right now in this state that I was currently in,I stared in the mirror looking at my tired eyes and wanting badly to sleep, luck was not on my side as the bathroom door swung open and jaimee stepped in,she paused when she saw me and I thought she was going to turn around and leave,instead she stood there looking at me,
"You look awful,are you okay?" She asked,
"I'm fine,just a headache" I snapped,go away jaimee my inner voice begged,
" ohh where is your girlfriend? Maybe you should have her take you home" she continued, stepping in and closing the bathroom door,I didn't reply instead I straightened and folded my arms looking at her arching my brows, I knew she had something to say so I was going to wait for her to, I leaned against the wall,and held her gaze,
"So you and Emily huh?" She asked,I nodded not wanting to say anything,
"Well that's good I'm happy for you" she continued and I rolled my eyes pushing off from the wall and stepping towards her forcing her to back against the door, "iii... Ummm.
What are you doing?" She asked glancing nervously around the room,my gaze took her in, her sweet soft kissable lips,her cleavage which rose and fell to her breathing, she had no idea what she did to me did she I thought, I reached out to brush the hair away that fell In her face and I saw her tense at my touch, sighing I pulled my hands back and glared at her,
" what do you care how I get home or who takes me home?" I asked
" should I not care Alexis? If you don't want me to I'll stop" she snapped back and I looked at her surprise.
"Touchy"I murmured not able to help myself I leaned forward and brushed my lips against hers,her hands shoved against my chest roughly
"What the fuck is wrong with you alexis, first I see you tongue deep in your girls throat and now you want to come and do this with me!!" She yelled and I felt her shake with anger,I had no idea what came over me but I continued kissing on her wrapping my arms around her waist holding her firmly so as to prevent her from moving,her lips were so soft,she struggled against me her lips pressed together not returning my kiss and trying to ease away from me, sighing I stopped and stepped back from her,she shot me a glare and spun on her heels exiting the bathroom and I felt even worse,why was I behaving like a jerk I thought, this was so not me. I had no idea what came over me and why I just did that to jaimee.

I went home that day and the rest of the week ran pretty smoothly after that,I hardly saw jaimee at work even though I knew she was there but she stayed a really wide distant from me, I wanted to ignore how I felt but I couldn't I needed to see her and talk to her but it was impossible with her dodging Me,her friend flirting and Emily all over me I was getting really frustrated and feeling really stressed out thinking of her so I decided to take some time off from work sending them a sick leave for two weeks and making the decision to go home for a few days back to my family,I missed my mom and my siblings.

The drive home was long however the thought of going home was good,after hours of driving I pulled into the familiar residence and headed directly for my house,getting closer i was relieved the moment I saw my mom there humming and watering her plants in the driveway,she looked up at the approaching car eyes narrowed in disbelief,turning off the pipe and dropping the hose she ran over to me as I stepped from the car sobbing softly "Alexis sweetheart ohh my gosh I'm so happy to see you" she flung her hands around me hugging me tightly,I wrapped my hands around her tiny waist and spun her holding her tightly laughing "mommmmm its so good to see you,did you cook?I'm pretty hungry" I stated earning a smack on my shoulders, "did you walk with your tummy as usual" she grinned and I pouted "mom I haven't had your cooking for so long" I straightened her and closed my car stepping towards the house, I really missed the place I thought looking around and feeling emotional at all the memories surfacing, once we got inside I flopped in the couch grabbing the remote and flipping through the channels while my mom went to the kitchen, hearing another car pulling up I glanced at mom with a question in my eye, "must be Trish coming from work"she stated, I nodded and shot my gaze back to the TV and waited,not long after my oldest sister stepped in and paused when she saw me. I bet her squealed could be heard from miles away and she pounced on me hugging me tightly, "oh my gosh you bitch,couldn't you tell me that you were coming!!!!" She yelled, I grimaced totally forgetting how loud she was,
" surprise" I muttered kissing her cheeks and shoving her from my lap, we started play wrestling and mom watched us shaking her head and clucking her tongue at us, hearing the door open we turned and my other sister latanya stepped in with my brother trey surprised Also to see me, pretty soon I was covered with limbs poking me every where and mom watching us.
"Little sis what a surprise" trey laughed spinning me around in circles making me dizzy.
" I was planning on coming there to kill you for not keeping in touch" latanya stated shooting me a glare,
"I'm sorry work has been hectic but I'll do better I promise" I replied hugging her tightly, we all flopped down In the couch and it felt like a relief just hanging with my siblings and my mom,my dad was away which made me feel better as we both hated each other.

For the rest of the night we watched movies, had dinner and just talked and laughed catching up on what I've missed out on,mom was exhausted so she retreated to bed early, leaving me and my three older siblings who turned to me as soon as they realized mom wasn't coming back out to us,
"So what happened?" Trish asked
"Yeah who fucked you over?" Latanya chipped in shooting me another glare
"Cmon guys ease up on her" trey came to my rescue
"Thank you big brother" I sighed grateful for him i walked over to him and dropped in his lap hugging him tightly,he shoved me out of his lap and I plopped on the floor laughing
"Seriously though, what happened how comes you are back?" Trey asked looking at me curiously, they knew me so well I hated and loved it,
"Honestly I just missed you guys" I stated brushing off myself and looking at them "I needed a break so I'm home for the week is that so bad" I glared,
"Its not bad little sis but we know you,after your throw down with dad we weren't expecting to see you for another twenty Years" latanya stated throwing a cushion at me,I dodged
"I'm honestly fine just chill guys I needed to see my family, and I'm here!! So shut up and show me love" I cursed and thankfully they left it there and no one said anything else and we settled turning to watch the movie. Within a hour latanya and Trish was fast asleep and trey and I were up drinking,
"Who broke your heart sis?" Trey asked
" she didn't break it, she just wrapped me in a web of confusion" I sighed and started telling him about jaimee,Emily,everything,of my siblings trey was second to last and we have always had this special bond, I got along with my sisters but somehow I wanted to share this with him more than them knowing I would value his input,"Damn" he chipped in every minute but allowed me to continue talking, "So I'm now with Emily cause jaimee left me to go to her husband which I understand she wasn't mine to begin with" I finished up taking a swig of my drink and looking over to him.
"Fuck sis,this is a lot but listen you need to clear your head a bit,I don't think you should continue with Emily if you don't love her or really want to be with her,that's a dangerous game fucking with someone's feeling yo" trey stated and I knew he was correct, see he would know exactly what to say,

"I know bro, I mean Emily is cool and all but I'm not down for her like that and I don't wish to hurt her by leaving"I sighed, he looked over at me

"Whichever way sis she will get hurt,think about it" and I did,I thought about it long and hard knowing my brother was right and that the best thing to do was to let Emily go and not force myself further, he interrupted my thoughts continuing

"In regards to this jaimee chick I'm confuse, she seems confused as well,just promise me you gonna be careful little sis?" Trey stated raising his glass like he was giving a toast,so we clinked glasses together and he rose his pinky like a goof making me laugh,joining our pinkies together I giggled "I promise bro imma be careful." That being said we watched the remainder of the movie in silence drifting off to sleep all of us huddled in the gf living room too lazy to find our rooms,just like old times I mused as sleep closed in on me.
