Rin was bored. Yukio left him behind on yet another mission, imprisoning Rin in his own room because there was nowhere to go because it was raining. “There’s nothing to do, I’m so bored!” he whined “Haven’t you ever heard of teamwork?” he thought.
“Then let’s change that.” said a voice from behind. Startled, he turned around to face a wet Azmaria now in the room. She was twisting her hair to drain the rain out. “Yukio said you might be bored alone. He told me where he keeps his entertainment for days like this.” She said, removing one of the cases of spare glasses carefully to pull out cards and dominoes.
“Why didn’t he tell me where those were?”
“Because you’d break something?” she joked, though that probably was the reason. She set the cards in a certain way. “Let’s play solitaire.”
“I suck at that.” Rin stated.
“So do I. but a little teamwork might get us somewhere.” She suggested. And thus, hours of games went by with teamwork on building castles and knocking dominoes into pictures. They fell asleep at one point to be woken up by Yukio.
“What happened?” he asked, looking at the mess.
“Teamwork.” They grinned. He blinked. They moved oddly. “Take that!” they said as they whacked pillows at him. It was easy teamwork to take him down…up until his glasses broke again. Then it was every man for himself when Yukio aimed his guns.
“Best rainy day ever!” Rin said.
