My cell phone went off, the ringtone being playing the melody I liked. I listened to it for a little before remembering that someone was calling. The ID said it was Len. “Hey, Len? Sorry for making you wait! I should change my ringtone so I can actually answer the phone” I laughed.
I could hear him sigh on the other line. “Rin said you wanted to see me? I’m at your front door”
“Oh, okay then.” I said, hanging up and letting him in. we walked over to the piano.
“So what did you want?” he asked. “And what was your ringtone anyways?” he asked. That was just the excuse I needed to start playing the melody all over again. He blinked recognizing it. “Let me play the piano? But that’s the piano version of my song!” he said.
I nodded. “Your songs are the best, you know. Speaking of which, would you mind playing the melody for me?” I asked, pleading a bit. “It’s nicer since I’m not alone in the house and your quirk subconsciously comes out while you’re laying the melody on the piano”
He raised a brow. “Quirk?”
I nodded. “Yeah, you always start smiling and humming along and your cheeks turn pink. I don’t know why or how, but it always brightens up my day!”
Without further ado, Len began to play, his “quirk” popping up again. He didn’t even realize that he made a face. Whenever he was playing the melody of any song for her, his happiness just takes over his thoughts. That and the glances he takes you smiling because of him.
