It was May 23rd, 2011. That was two days after the world was supposedly going to end. They called it “Judgment Day”, but we lived. It was supposed to end at 6:00pm where at that time Azmaria and her friends were on top of Station Tower listening to music, talking, and infamously eating sea salt ice cream while watching the sunset. It was the ideal way for them to die if it really was the end.
“What’s on your mind?” Roxas asked Azmaria, upon noticing that she was lost in her own world.
“For such a grim event, I’m glad that it was not at all gray.” She replied, before laughing a little. “Although it was kind of ironic because at the time we were listening to Len Kagamine’s Gray.”
“What?” Roxas asked before realizing what she was talking about. “Oh, Saturday!” he said as she nodded.
“I’m glad that day turned out the way it did. It was supposed to be gray and gloomy” she said.
“Oh right, blue skies instead of gray clouds. When was the weatherman ever right?” he joked.
“Very true” she agreed. “Hey, what were you going to tell me?”
His eyes widened and gulped. “It’s not important!” he exclaimed, before he heard Hayner call him. He so owed Hayner big time. If the world really was going to end, Roxas wanted to confess to her in their final moments.
