QUESTION 1. What is your name (or nickname/pen-name if preferred)?
I like to go by pen-name Kels on Wattpad. I don't want to go by my real name with my writing.

QUESTION 2. What started you on the path to writing?
Reading Nemi (Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas) fanfics on YouTube. Lol

QUESTION 3. When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer, and specifically in the genre of urban fiction?
I originally started off writing Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas fan fictions. Lol shocker, but the thing that made me cross over to urban fiction is when I would have to write about Demi or Nick tanning or how they washed their hair. It's obviously a little different than how I do it. I, then decided to write more relatable things to make it very much realistic to me. Urban fiction.

I thought was my reality at the time I began writing.

QUESTION 4. When did you write your first book and how old were you?
In 2010, I was fourteen. (I ain't releasing names and stuff, for the previous questions above as well. Lol, I'm really secretive about my writing in real life. I've only shared it with my best friend.)

QUESTION 5. Who are some of your favorite authors on and off Wattpad?
On Wattpad: wetcigarettes wheadee penny88 tovarx
MissPerfectFlaws and just like Tova, I can go on all day lol
Off Wattpad: My number one is Sarah Dessen. I'm getting into Sister Soulja a little as well.

QUESTION 6. How long have you been writing?
For about 8 years. Really six because these last two have been challenging for me.

QUESTION 7. How do you think you've evolved creatively?
I want things to look better, sound deeper, and appear as if I know what I'm doing when I don't. I wasn't doing that before, Lol it's "finesse szn".

QUESTION 8. Why did you choose to write in your particular field or genre? If you write more than one, how do you balance them?
I write mostly teen fiction, which is sometimes based in an urban setting. Being realistic and relating everything to my real life helps me balance the different genres like Romance and Chic-Lit.

QUESTION 9. What are the upsides and downsides to being an author?
— Being able to express myself in a world where I control what goes and what doesn't. The downside for me is actually writing down what's jumbled inside my head. I'm hella lazy.

QUESTION 10. What do you love most about the writing process?
— Realizing that I'm creating something for someone else, and it can be so intense and touching. Also that it's something that can still be here after I'm dead and gone, or when I choose to start a different journey. I love that part the most.

QUESTION 11. Why do you write? What keeps you motivated during creative slumps?
Myself. I have set a goal for myself and I want to reach it. I don't mess with creative slumps anymore; I just let it be. It doesn't do me any good to try during times like that. And I don't really have those anymore. I just can't post everything on Wattpad.

QUESTION 12. Do you outline books ahead of time or are you more of a by-the-seat-of-your-pants writer?
— I've learned to outline.

QUESTION 13. How many books have you written?
— I have over 90 stories STARTED under xowhore, and that's JUST under xowhore. That's sad bro.

QUESTION 14. Out of all the books you've written, do you have a favorite?
— Yes and no. Lol they all my babies.

QUESTION 15. If someone is brand new to your work, what book do you think they should start with?
— I would say "Long Summers" but don't do it bro. It ain't even finished. Just don't even do it to yourself.

QUESTION 16. What do your fans mean to you?
— They are like the sun and the moon to me. I love them dearly, I'm always looking forward to seeing (or hearing from them) but I'm grateful of the opportunity of having them.

QUESTION 17. What advice would you give to aspiring authors?
— Write everything down that you imagine and then perfect it. Never compare yourself to others. And read as much as you write.
