"E-Excuse me?" I looked at Selena. She was dumbfounded.
"You h-heard me." Her voice was shaky, like she was about to cry.
"Can I have a full sentence please?.."
"Ed, in 2006, I gave birth to the girl I'm certain is in your living room."
"Oh my god."
"We decided to drink because, well, you were you, I got pregnant and didn't tell you, and.." she was crying now, I could tell by her voice.
"Fuck, what are we going to tell Joe?!"
"I don't know. I.." the other end was silent.
"It's fine, you know I've gotten over you."
"But how are we gonna tell her? And what make you think I've gotten over you Ed?" She was starting to hyperventilate.
"Well we have to tell our Scarlett somehow!"
"Tell me what?" She was standing in the doorway the who time.
"Taylor I have to go." I threw my phone on the counter as Scarlett ran out of the house.
"Scarlett!" She wouldn't stop.
"Shit. Shit. Shit.. ugh."
"What the hell just happened?!" Selena said, standing in the doorway.
"I'm as confused as you."
"Well, can you tell me why Scarlett ran off?"
"Umm.."
"Whatever, it doesn't right now. We just have to find her."
