Evan had his hands stuck in the pockets of his navy-blue jacket, his feet crunching under the grass and some leaves here and there. He saw some people, but not the particular person he wanted to see.

He walked down the path and saw Connor.

"Hey Connor... I know we haven't talked in a while."

Evan sat in front of him and took a deep breath as he began his little speech.

"I'm sorry for not... you know... helping you the best I could. It's just, you seemed okay, and I thought maybe you were. You asked me to be your boyfriend and I said yes. I helped you and took you to therapy to help you."

Evan put his hand on Connor.

"But I guess the therapy didn't help. I guess you got worse and worse, and you didn't tell me."

Evan fiddled with his fingers, looking at them as he spoke.

"I really wanted to help, to be part of this. You could've just told me Connor, and I would've gaven it more than everything. You probably hate me, that's why you left. You hate me and need some time to yourself. That's okay, but always know I will forever love you, no matter what."

Evan wiped the hot and heavy tears he didn't realize he had running along his cheeks as he placed the flowers he brought beside Connor's tombstone.

"See you on the other side."
