Story 6: Convention (Part 1)

Alana adjusted the headband in her hair. The group today was dressing up as fictional characters. She combed her hair correctly and she put on her pink sweater with patches. She was going as Mabel, and guess who was going as Dipper?!

Connor tiptoed down the hall, trying to sneak off. Alana grabbed his hand and Connor shreiked.

"Connor! What are you doing?" Alana asked.

"Ummm... getting drugs?" He nervously asked.

Alana put Dipper's hat on Connor's head. Connor sighed; he was never a fan of dressing up.

"Come on, Con Con! It'll be fun!"

"Don't call me Con Con..." he muttered, crossing his arms and sighing.

Alana stepped back and took a look at him.

"Dipper looks like a total dork!" She said excitedly.

Connor shrugged as Alana hugged him happily. Connor pat her head awkwardly and stood there nervously.

Alana and Connor stood in front of the convention, awaiting for everyone else. Soon enough, they saw Evan and Zoe walk over, dressed as normal people.

"What are you dorks doing, normal personas?" Connor asked.

Evan looked down shyly. Connor immediately regretted his rude comment.

"We're The Land of Stories twins! Evan's Conner, and I'm Alex!" Zoe hopped around.

Evan flashed a smile and stood next to Zoe.
"Clap clap." Alana rolled her eyes playfully.

"Wow Alana, I could feel the sarcasm from here."

Alana picked Evan up and put her hand over him. Alana then set him down and Evan took deep breaths. Connor kissed his cheek to calm down, but that made him hypervenalate.

Jared showed up in a back hoodie, jeans, and boots, and brushed his hair over his face. Connor stared at him annoyingly.

"Is... is that me." Connor muttered.

Jared grinned and nodded. Alana, Zoe, and Evan began to laugh.

"Impress me! Imitate my brother!" Zoe asked.

"HeY iM cOnNeR aNd i ThInK iM eMo BeCaUsE i WeAr AlL bLaCk!" Jared mimicked.

Zoe and Alana leaned against the wall, and Evan tried to maintain his laughs. Connor cracked his knuckles in response.
