Y/N's (Your Name) Point of View

Today is Sunday and as usual, I am going to visit my aunt today. Basically, my mom baked my aunt's favorite cake and cookies and as always, I am the one who will deliver it to her, because I also love to chill in her house, hehe.

When I put all the containers inside the bag, I bid goodbye to my mom and left.

While walking, I looked up and observed the beautiful and bright sky, which eventually turns into a bit dark and gloomy sky. The gray clouds are slowly covering the warm sun right now.

"It looks like it will rain later", I mumbled to myself, and unluckily, I was right. After a few minutes, droplets of rain started to pour down and I didn't brought an umbrella.

"Oh, not now!", I shouted and quickly ran to the nearest waiting shed that I could see and sat there while fixing my hair.

"I think I have to wait until the rain stops", I said as I looked up. It is not such a simple rain but a heavy freaking rain. Suddenly I remembered something, so I stopped looking up to the sky and decided to looked at the wet trees beside this waiting shed. Later on, as I keep on wandering my eyes everywhere, a man walking with a serenity umbrella suddenly caught my attention. He is walking calmly, left hand is in his pants and his eyes were looking down on the ground.

"I like his umbrella", I commented while admiring his cute umbrella. When the man was getting nearer to me, I just find him familiar to me, then my world just magically stops for a moment.

This man is Joshua, my ex-boyfriend.

When he lifted up his head, our eyes accidentally met.

"Oh! Hi Y/N!", he said as he waved his hand to me and smiled handsomely.

"H-Hello J-... J-Joshua", I stuttered, really bad.

"Nice meeting you again. How are you?", he asked as he stood in front of me while looking straight to my eyes and smiled warmly.

"I'm f-fine, and y-you?"

Gosh, I'm still stuttering

"I'm fine too. Are you going somewhere?", he asked as he pointed the bag beside me.

"Oh y-yeah, I'm going to my aunt's house, but I still have to seat here and wait until the rain stops. I forgot to bring an umbrella, hehe", I shyly said.

"Then, let's share with my umbrella", he happily said.

I suddenly get deja vu.

"R-Really? I-Is it okay with you?", I said while smiling awkwardly.

"Yep! It's okay if it is you, and besides, this umbrella is big enough for the both of us", he said as he gets the bag beside me and carries it.

"Let's go?", he asked and so I nodded and stood up. Honestly, this is really awkward but I don't have any other choice, seems like the rain won't stop until night. The sky was also full of dark clouds.

While we are walking under the rain, sharing the same umbrella, he suddenly stopped his tracks which made me stop also and looked at him with a confused look.

Then he spoke, "Y/N, do you still remember the day when we broke up?", he stated which sent shivers down to my spine.

Why is he bringing back the past?

"Hmm", I hummed as I nodded.

"Then, do you still remember what I said to you?", my brain suddenly stopped functioning and start reminiscing.

"Joshua....... let's break up", I coldly said, trying to hide the pain that I am feeling right now.

"But why? Did I do something wrong? Tell me Y/N. Tell me!!", he shouted and held both of my shoulders.

"No, Joshua. You didn't do anything wrong. There is nothing wrong with you, you're perfect to me"

"Then why are you breaking up with me?", he said as his tears fell down from his cheeks.

"Because I'm tired", I said as I looked away, avoiding his gaze.

"You're tired? Am I boring Y/N?"

"No, I'm just tired Joshua"

"Then, if you are tired, then... I have no choice but to let you go", he said, and I could clearly hear the sadness in his voice.

"But always remember this Y/N, if ever we will meet once again on a rainy Sunday morning..." he said and cupped my cheeks.

"Then it means that we are meant to be, that we still love each other. I know it sounds weird and you might not believe in these things, but, I hope you'll try to believe in it"

"I love you, Y/N. Always..." he said and he slowly put his hands down, then I walked away without trying to look back at him.

PRESENT TIME

We first met each other on a rainy Sunday morning, but during that time, I was the one who offered to share my umbrella with him, that's why I said a while ago that I get deja vu. But this time, it's the opposite one.

And I think what he said 7 months ago was true. We did meet once again, on a rainy Sunday morning. All of those things that he said to me on the day we broke up, all of those were indeed true, because until now, I do still love him, I do love him so much.

"I still remember it, Joshua. It is still clear in my memory, and you are right, we did met once again on a Sunday morning and... the rain is falling", I said and I looked up on him. His sparkling eyes are now staring intently at me.

"That's right, Y/N, but do you still love me?", he said and I could see a little sadness, as well as a big hope, and anticipation on his eyes.

"I think you already know the answer", I coldly said, and surprisingly, the rain suddenly stops, but neither the both of us did not care about it.

"Huh?", he said as his brows met. So without thinking twice, I pulled him then kissed his lips gently. He got flustered after what I did, but eventually, he closed his eyes and kissed me back.

His lips are still the same. So soft and fluffy, that I wanted to bite it. The way he kissed me back is still the same. Our lips just perfectly fits towards each other, and all of a sudden, he unexpectedly bit my lower lip.

My eyes widened and I pushed him away from me.

"I'm sorry", he apologized while catching his breathe.

"Do you know it already?", I asked and he smiled.

"Yes. I love you too Y/N", he said as he let go of the umbrella as well as the bag, then pulled me to kiss my lips again. This time, our kiss went passionate and deep, as deep as the ocean. If we can do this forever, then we will, we won't stop, not until....

"So that's why I waited for you for almost half of an hour because you are kissing your boyfriend?!", my aunt shouted. I just noticed and realized by now that we are already in front of my aunt's house.

And she saw us kissing... or should I say, making out?

Tsk! Great.
