Joshua's Point of View

"Dokyeom, are you messing with me??"

"I'm not messing with you Joshua. My feelings for you are sincere", Dokyeom said. I can see it in his eyes, he's telling the truth.

"I... gotta go", I said without looking at him then I ran away.

I am currently walking in our hallway but it feels like I'm not. It feels like I'm levitating and at the same time I'm falling. All I think is Y/N, I wonder how will she react if she knows the truth.

"Hey Josh~", Vernon greeted me as soon as I get in the classroom.

"Hi", I coldly replied.

"Are you okay? Is something happened?"

"Yeah I'm fine but something happened and I don't really like it"

"What do you mean?", Vernon confusely said then a few seconds he gasp.

"Did you confessed to her? Did Y/N dumped you?!", Vernon shouted which made me shocked.

"Hey, I didn't! How can I confessed to her when I already know that she likes someone else and that someone likes me!"

"Wait what?", Vernon said then I realized.

"W-what?"

"Dokyeom likes you???"

"Well....... Y-yeah"

"Oh my! Dokyeom is a gay?!" Vernon shouted. I covered his mouth right after. Gladly, our classmates are wearing headphones.

"Don't shout, someone might hear you plus we're not that sure yet"

"Sorry", Vernon said and he covers his mouth.

"So how did you know that Dokyeom likes you?"

"I will tell you after class", I said then he nodded.

The class started, my mind and soul are not here, I'm staring at the window and I'm thinking so many nonsense things.

In other words, I'm going crazy.

Also, Dokyeom is not here and I don't know why he's not here and where is he right now.

Don't tell me... he is crying right now because I dumped him? Well, I didn't actually dumped him, I just abandoned him. Isn't it the same thing, Joshua?!

Well, I'm hope he understand my decision.

"So that's for today! Class dismiss!" I stood up right away and pulled Vernon outside the classroom. I took him to the garden of our school.

"So, how did you know?", Vernon teasingly said then I sighed.

"He confessed to me"

"He what?!", Vernon shockingly said and I looked at him.

"Remember a while ago, when he said he wants to talk to me?"

"Oh~ He may be a gay, but he is more braver than you", Vernon said then he laughs.

"I really can't believe that Dokyeom likes me"

"Dokyeom likes you?!" Vernon and I looked back then we saw Y/N.

"Y-Y/N. W-what are y-you doing h-here?", I nervously stuttered.

"Just walking around. But about what you said earlier, is it true?", Y/N seriously said. I felt bad for her.

"W-what did I said earlier Vernon?", I said while looking at him.

"I don't know Joshua, haha I didn't hear it"

"Just tell me the truth", Y/N said then I sighed. She looks really desperate to know the truth.

"It's true, he likes me. You know what Y/N, I know you liked Dokyeom but there are still tons of men in this world", I said which make Y/N confused.

"Wait how did you know that I like him?"

"Well, I... I actually overheard you conversation with your friends. I'm sorry", I said as I looked down.

"No it's fine, but actually I don't like him as a man", Y/N said which made me look up to her.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I like him as a friend. Like you know he is so funny, honest and positive. He is such a boy bestfriend material", Y/N said which made me smile.

"Y/N, I have something to tell you"

"What is it?", Y/N said and I looked at her eyes.

Since I already know the truth that Y/N only likes Dokyeom as a friend, then I'm going to tell her what I felt for her right now, right here. It's now or never.

"Y/N......."

I inhaled and exhaled.

"I like you, as a woman. I really really like you Y/N"

Y/N's eyes widened and my heart starts to beat fast.

"Joshua, I didn't expect that. Thank you for liking me. To be honest, I do liked you before", Y/N said while smiling.

She liked me before???

"You liked me before?", I said then she nodded.

"But a few months later, my feelings for you just disappeared. Right now, I don't have a crush. I want to focus on the things that I want to do, especially my studies", Y/N explained and I nodded.

"That's great but... if Joshua will court you, is there a possibility that your feelings for him before will comeback???", Vernon suddenly said.

My eyes widened, "What are you saying Vernon?!"

"I'm just curious Josh", he said then he chuckles.

"Well...... Maybe?", Y/N said as she giggles. My heart beats fast again and I can feel the heat on my cheeks.

"Is it okay to c-court you?", I shyly asked.

"Yup! If you want to court me then do it. Who knows, I might like you back", Y/N cutely said which made me giggled.

"Waaahh, you're so cute"

"Whoa~ I can really feel that the love is in the air~", Vernon jokingly said which made us laugh.

"How about Dokyeom?", Y/N suddenly said.

"Don't worry about him Y/N, I'm sure there is one girl in this world that can change him", Vernon said and the both of us nodded.

"Yeah Y/N, don't think about him, think about us"

"You really want me to like you back, don't you?"

"Hahahaha, that's my one of my goals Y/N and I'm telling you, none of them fails", I said and winked at her.

"Okay lovebirds, let's go and get something to eat. I'll pay for it!", Vernon said.

"Okay let's go!"
