We both get into the car, depsite the muffled whispers towards us in the background as people watch out movements.
"But I'm serious, if you don't like it, I will bring you right back home," Luke says, looking to me in the passenger seat with a serious tone, "I promise,"
I nod and smile back at him as he starts the engine and begins to drive his fancy car, which I guess I should have known he would have by the look of the place he lives. I didn't bother asking about the car, since Luke had already told me he wasn't a snob and it would just be the same story as the apartment.
I wondered what on earth I was doing, allowing myself to drive off to the woods with Luke after feeling like we had only known each other such a short amount of time. Although, in that time, I had grown to know and love small things about him. Despite what had happened the other week, I didn't mind anymore, because all I cared about was this moment right now with millions of questions filling my confused brain.

"How much further?" I groaned as we seemed to walk forever into the woods. I was definitely not dressed for this, my converse didn't have too much grit on the bottom and my sweater and skinny jeans were not keeping me too warm in this December weather.
Although Luke was carrying the bags and tent on his back, he seemed to be dashing through the woods easily even though his vans were falling apart and I wondered if he was ever planning on getting a new pair. I was relieved when we finally stopped in the middle of the open, surrounded by tall trees and greenery everywhere.
Luke dropped the bags and laid ontop of the pile, "Fuck, I'm so tired,"
I tried to catch my breath as I sat on a bag beside him, avoiding the semi damp leaves scattered on the ground beneath us.
"We should probably build the tent," I said, as I stood up and poured the parts to the tent out in front of me, staring blankly at the many different pieces.
"We?" Luke questioned, "Babe, I carried the tent, it's your job to put it up,"
He leaned back and put his hands behind his head, closing his eyes. I glared at him before grabbing a randomly pole from the tent and hitting him on the chest causing him to sit up quickly.
"Ow," Luke pouted, "That hurt,"
"You dragged me here, now you can help me build this tent,"
Eventually Luke got up and helped with the tent and despite the many fails of attempting to put it up, we somehow did. I liked seeing this childish side to Luke, although it could get irritating when I'm trying to be careful by not knocking the tent over, his playful side made me smile. I liked the way his face lit up when he would do something dumb and wait for my reaction, knowing that he would make me smile just be stupidly grinning at me.
I took it Luke had not the first idea about camping and neither did I. We both were just going with what was happening and hoped for the best.
"Hey," Luke said as he admired the tent, which I had mostly put up, "I think there's a waterfull around here somewhere, want to go check it out?"
"Do I have a choice?" I answered back, followed by a smile. Luke shook his head no at me before gesturing the way towards this waterfull.
The waterfull was a little further than Luke had said it was, but Luke telling me which hair colours would suit me the whole journey was distracting from the walk. Although, when we arrived we both realised it was worth the little bit of an extra walk. We stood at the top of the cliff, looking to the waterfull flowing into the large pool of water beneath us. The water was probably freezing, but it looked like a swimming pool in the summer.
