A/N - I have no idea how this chapter will turn out because i haven't planned it out so bare with me okay???

I walked into Luke's living room, where his four friends were scattered around on the sofas enagaged in coversation until I walked in. They all watched me slowly as I shuffled to the door to leave, it couldn't really be any more awkward and embarrassing. As I was almost at the front door, I heard my name called behind me and I turned around to see Luke walking over to me.

"Fran, will you just wait one minute?" Luke sighed as he approached me.

I didn't really know how to react, what was I supposed to do the moment Luke had performed such a gesture to me? No one did that to me and I had zero idea how I was supposed to react. I had no idea whether to sit there like a lemon and allow myself to see where he was going or get scared at just walk out. I was confused why he would anyway, I had convinced myself Luke wasn't into me like that.

"I really do need to go home," I quietly say.

The four boys raise their heads and watch Luke and I stood by the door.

"Let me walk you?" Luke offered, looking over to the boys which made them all snap their heads away in unison. Luke was not kidding when he said they were like grown children, but I found it kind of cute.

"I don't think that's a good idea," I explain, "If my mum sees you we will both be killed on the spot,"

Luke chuckles a little before smiling at me, seeming to make me forget everything. It was crazy how a smile, a simple facial expression, can do so much to you. Unbareably I smile back at him, kind of feeling guilty for what had happened a few minutes ago.

"Sure," I say. Luke shouts to the boys that he's going out and they all mumble droaned out okay's.

We begin to walk down the street and everything feels deadly silent, the complete opposite to how we have been all day. I didn't like this with Luke, he always loved talking which told me something pretty awkward had to of happened for him to shut up for an entire five minutes.

Obviously a guy like Luke had never been rejected before and obviously a girl like me had never even hugged a guy as attractive as Luke before, which made us both put in an embarrassing situation. I didn't like it like this though, it was just an in the moment thing and although I was curious why Luke would do that anyway, I wish I could go back and handle the situation a lot better. I knew now that moment with his lips on my neck, even if it did last one second, it will be playing in my mind all night.

"You listened to fall out boy?" Luke asked as we continued to stroll casually down the road.

"Nope," I say, "Is that a band or something?"

Luke smiles at my comment before nodding, "Yes, it's a band. Maybe I could play them for you some day,"

I smile tugs on my lips, "Maybe. And maybe, you could play me a song on your guitar,"

"Maybe," Luke nods.

We continue to walk and I feel like this is perhaps the longest journey we have been on. Although my house was not far, the silence was causing it to go on forever. Yet, I still hoped that this journey would take as long as possible as I dreaded what was to come when I got home. It was currently some time past four in the evening.

"I'm sorry about before, I was just in the moment, you know?" Luke looked down at me and rubbed the back of his neck. I liked how much taller he was than me, some people would see it as intimidating but he was so thin and attractive, that would be impossible.

"Don't worry about it, I acted stupid anyway,"

"So..." Luke trailed off, "Friends?"

Did he really see us as being friends? I had never had proper friends before, including Jane who was just someone I hung around with so both of us would not be complete loners at school. Although, I had never had someone actually call me their friend and want to be a friend to me.
