I put my ear to the door and heard Jason playing music in the room , " Can you pass me my towel " I said with my head half way out the door & my body covered . " how you leave ya towel , that's the importantpart of a shower " he said handing me my towel and pushing the door open , I was completely naked and he made sure he was gon see that too . I rushed putting on my towel and he was laughing , " What the fuck is wrong with you ? " I said rushing out the room and he followed me . " Bro chill out , it wasn't like ya body is bad " once he said that I looked up at him and he was biting his lips and shit , " I'm pregnant remember that " I said and we both laughed . He finally went to take a shower and left me alone , I layed down on the bed and got a dm from meen .

" Jasmine ? why are you doing this yo , You gon leave me & not give me update about my child . We don't gotta be together just let me know how my baby doing & when will he or she be born , I know you went to the doctor and shit bro hit me back "

" I'm 4 & a half months meen , May 29th & she's fine " I sent back trying to end the conversation but he seemed to find a way to continue it , Eventually I nodded off to sleep . I woke up to feeling someone touching my feet & turns out it was Jason rubbing them . I lifted my body up and looked at him , I can't lie it felt so good I haven't had my feet rubbed since me and and meen was on good good terms like when he wasn't coming home mad and shit .

" Why are you so nice to me ? , I know you got other females to be worried about " I said looking at him making eye contact

" Why ya females always think niggas fw other bitches ? " he said with a serious face

" Well excuse me , My fault " I said laughing with my hand on my chest

I continued to let him massage my feet & by the time he was done Karin walked in and asked up if we was ready . He helped me put my jacket on & get myself together as if I was pregnant with his baby , I appreciate all that he's done but it feels so weird having a man treat you right for the first time even tho were only friends . I can tell he wants to be more than friends by the way he looks at me & some of the things he says but idk if this will work out being that I have a crazy ass ex texting me & his baby in my stomach . We all got into separate cars , Jason didn't want me to drive so he made me ride with him .

He was blasting his music the whole car ride , I got a call from a unknown number . At first I didn't answer but then they called again so I turned the music down and answered , " Hello ? " . " Jasmine let me talk to you real quick .. don't hang up " I heard a familiar voice say and immediately rolled my eyes .

" What do you want meen ? " , Jay looked over at me with his eyebrows turned .

" I miss you Jasmine , Every since you left shit ain't been the same " he said and I knew he was full of shit

" Meen why must you bother me ? we need to be a way from eachother & I don't think I need to be taking steps backwards .... Me and you both know you don't care about me or this baby " I said and he just sucked his teeth .

" That ain't even true , what about what you did ? always wanna bash me for the mistake I made when you wasn't even treating me like how a lady is suppose to treat their man .. c'mon now you ain't even cook for a nigga . " , I looked over at Jason while we was at a red light and he looked worries asf .

" Meen are you crazy ? Every time I cooked you wasn't home & the fact that I left college to stay with you at ya mom's house is mind blowing .. You fucked up my whole life and now when I'm tryna get my shit together you wanna come and bring me back down to square one " I said and it hurt knowing that the one person you truly loved could try to pin all his wrong doings all cause you wouldn't treat him with respect when he doesn't give you respect . Tears started to run down my face and before you knew it Jason grabbed the phone out my hand and started going off on meen .

" Ayo stop calling her phone if you gon keep tryna bash the mother of ya child , You did enough to shawty and you gon try to stress her out .. Call her phone again with the bullshit & ima fuck you up " Then he hung up , I didn't know what meen said to him and I suddenly felt relieved and safe around Jason for some reason he always made I was straight . We pulled up to the restaurant and every parked and got out .. Karin and Dave was holding hands , Ella was pushing melody & artist had his arms wrapped around her , Chris & Aaliyah was hugging up on eachother walking .. I looked over at Jason and he was in his phone so I didn't get mad or anything I knew I would be exaggerating besides were just friends . He must've knew I was looking at him on his phone so he walked up behind me and placed his arms around my shoulder and kissed my head , The smell of his cologne hit me right in my face .. He smelled amazing like I wanted to just hug him and get a full experience of what he smelled like .
