Jasmine

I woke up with a bad cramp , for some reason I was excited about going to the doctors so I can see my baby & hear it's heart beat . I got up and went straight to the bathroom getting undressed and fulky naked then went into the shower and bathed in this new coco butter soap , I wanted my skin to be flawless during this pregnancy . 30 minutes later I was done & I pulled out some yoga pants and my pink hoodie so I could be comfortable . Nobody was here it was just me , I ain't feel like cooking so I decided to stop by McDonald's or something .

I put the address in my navigation and headed to the nearest McDonald's in the root of the doctors office . " Great it's one right here " I said to myself as I walked out and into the McDonald's . Thank God it was only 2 people infront of me , I was the next person in line and I felt someone come near me like I started to feel breathing on my neck or something so I turned around & ofc I seen jay right behind me and 2 other guys . I turned back around real quick , " Wassup ma " he said and I tried to ignore him but realized I was being rude & maybe his intentions are just to be friends plus I need to stop letting the meen situation make me uptight .

" Wassup " I said turning around and smiling

" You finally being nice " he said and I giggled .

" Hi how may I help you " the lady said breaking the convo

" I want a nunber 6 , with no pickles on the burger & large fries with a large sprite & 20 pc nuggets "

" That's it ma'am ? "

" wait can I get a medium mango smoothie also " I said looking at the lady and her faced look so shock

" Damn you bout to buy the whole damn store " Jay said and I turned around and rolled my eyes

" So that'll be 21 dollars & 82 cents " she said and I reached into my wallet and pulled out my card about to swipe until jay grabbed my hand .

" I got it ma " he said and took money out his pocket with a stack of money in his hand

" Well damn she only said it was 21.82 " I said and he slid out a 20 from the rubber bands .

" Thank you , You didn't have to pay for it tho " I said and walked over to the side to wait for my food and he walked over with me

" No problem ma , So you not gon tell me ya name ? " he said and I rolled my eyes

" Jasmine & aren't you gonna order ya food ? " I said looking curious

" Nah , I came in here for you "

" How cute " I said smiling

" You live around here ? "

" Yeah , right down the block in the condo building "

" Can I get ya number ? I'm not tryna be ya man but can we be atleast friends since we hang around the same group of friends  " he said with his hands in the air

" I'll think about it , You'll see me around " I said grabbing my food and walking out leaving him speechless .

I got into my car and drove off to the doctors , I sat in my car for about 20 minutes eating my food . For some reason that McDonald's was hitting the spot and I was so full . My timer went off and I knew it was time for me to head into the doctors office . I made my way up the elavator and into the office , There was a lady sitting at the front desk & I signed in

" Jasmine Harper " I said and she nodded writing my name down .

I walked over a sat down , There were so many pregnant mom's here by themselves not that I know if there single or not but I knew it was gonna be me by myself here at every doctors appointment . I was about to call Karin but I heard my name being called so I walked towards the door & she let me into the room . I waited for the doctor to come in .

" Hi Jasmine " she said and I looked up .

" Hello " I said and smiled

" So what can I help you with today ? "

" Recently I was in the hospital and I found out I was pregnant but I didn't really trust the information I was giving & I wanted to come to a professional doctor " I said and she nodded

" Ok so we're gonna have you pee on this & I'll do a sonogram " she said handing me this thing that looked wierd asf while she walked out .

I peed on the stick & waited for her to come back in after about 5 minutes she came and took the stick that was connected to some technology shit , The results came back fast .

" Well it turns out you are pregnant & let's do a sonogram so lay back and relax while I fix this thing up " she said and smiled .

I layed back and she squirted some cold ass gel on my stomach causing me to flinch because that shit caught me off guard . She started to move it all around my stomach .

" Well Jasmine the baby is healthy and the heart beat is amazing " she said as she turned the computer up and I heard the heart beat and it made my heart start to jump .

" Your big to be 4 & a half months " she said and I was confused because the doctors in New york a few days ago said I was 3 & a half .

" Really ? I knew that doctor was telling me false information "

" Yes girl , You're 4 & a half months .. Your due date is May 29th "

" Looks like I'm having myself a Gemini " I said happy because my birthday is June 16th .

" Your all set & your next appointment well me next month January 5th " she said and I got up and adjusted myself .

Today was honestly the best day of my life to hear my baby is healthy and hopefully next month I find out if it's a boy or girl . I'll teach my baby all they need to know with or without a father in their life . I don't want to keep meen out of his childs life but I need time to adjust myself and get on my own feet .

I got back into my car and headed back at Karin's house , My feet was on fire and I needed to sleep off this food . The lights in New york were so long it took like 5 minutes for the light to turn green . I parked in the parking lot & made my way up to the apartment . As I opened the door I heard noises in the kitchen & Already knew Karin was home .

" Hey girl , how'd it go at the doctors ? " she said walking out into the living room with sandwiches in her hand

" Great , Well I'm 4 & a half months pregnant & im due in May " I said reaching over and grabbing a sandwich

" Really ? I thought she said 3 and a half and the hospital "

" Me too " I said and sat down next to her .

Every since Jasmine left I was thinking about her & for some reason she wouldn't stay off my mind . I let the drugs influence me to beat on her it was never my intentions to hurt her but when I was under the influence which was all the time I couldn't control my anger . I've been through hell and back when I was younger and I let that shit control me as I got older . Well every since she left I haven't been popping pills just smoking weed , I haven't been drinking either . I still fuck othwr bitches but the way she left out of here it showed that we was done .

Only reason I'm changing my actions is because of my mother , Every since I told her Jasmine was pregnant she told me to get my shit together so I could be there for my first born . Jasmine moved all the way to new york , I'll give her some time but if she think ima be out her life for ever shit got another thing coming .

I decided to go on her Instagram , As I was scrolling through her pictures I seen that her stomach was showing . My first born and I can't even have the fulk experience of my girl being pregnant . It's my fault tho I guess everything was all on me , Jasmine wasn't no angel herself . She would provoke me to do things like when she would wanna argue all the time in the beginning of the relationship and assume shit then not talk to me for days & even she'd try to go through my phone for no reason or better yet she would make shows infront of everyone in public , The only way for her to calm down was me putting my hands on her .
