i'm not sure
i guess it's hard to explain
but i've never not been in love
please don't call me insane
you think i'm dull
maybe making it up
but i really don't recall a time
that i haven't been in love
whether it be that boy or that girl
one or all
there's always been someone
who made me drool
i never knew what it was
i myself found it confusing
for all these years
i didn't know what i was doing
suddenly, realization hit me
for the girl i thought i liked
didn't like me back
and i found myself relieved
i felt empty and clean
somehow set free
was this empty human being
finally the real me?
nobody behind a mask
looking for someone better
just me and myself
tucked warm in my pink sweater
suddenly, it all made sense
and even though they didn't notice
my life had forever changed
and i was the only one to know this
