I STAYED INSIDE THE ELEVATOR CRYING for another thirty minutes. Hindi ko mapigilan ang sarili kong mag balik tanaw. I wanted to blame myself for not even asking and reaching out for the whole five years. But can anyone blame me? He couldn't even talk to me when there's a problem. He decided for us and that made me angry again. If he was worried about safety, mas lalong dapat ay kasama ko siya.

But he left — and now he's going to leave again.

Nang magdesisyon akong lumabas ay ang nakasandig na si Seige sa dingding ang nabungaran ko. He was consumed by his own thoughts that he didn't immediately notice the elevator door was already open.

"Damn it, Ayah! What happened to your face?!" nag aalalang tanong niya nang makita ang mata kong mugtong-mugto mula sa pag-iyak. I stayed longer because I didn't want them to see but I realize hindi naman magtatanggal ang pagkamugto dahil walang tigil din naman ang pag iyak ko.

"I'm sorry, Seige. I didn't want you to see me like this. Anong oras dadating si Jaguar?" I asked, my voice is low.

I cannot let everyone in this safe house see my state right now. Magtataka sila. Seige knows but not the others o 'yon ang akala ko? The worst thing about this incident is that they knew but they decided to stay silent, it means they agree with Primo's choice.

He went from concern to quizzical for awhile. "Later at three am. Did you and Primo had a fight? Nasapak niya si Condor habang nagbibigay ng report dahil mainit ang ulo niya. He stormed out and left," imporma nito.

My heart sunk rock bottom nang marinig yun.

He really left.

"Will he come back?" I asked Seige, full of hopes.

He nodded. "He was just surveying the area to look for more evidence. He's also making sure Jaguar will land here later with no threat."

"Nagkasagutan kami. You can't blame me, I've waited for this conversation to happen," I informed him. "But I'm okay."

Nagdududang tiningnan niya ako. Hindi kumbinsido sa narinig mula sa akin but he sighed and did not push it. "Come on, cupcake. I'll bring you to your room para makaligo at makapagpahinga kana. Do you have any injury? We're first class in giving first aids," sambit niya pagkuwa'y hinawakan ang dalawang balikat ko para tingnan kung may sugat ba akong natamo.

Hindi na ako nagprotesta.

I'm so tired, damn tired.

This day is so far from a vacation I was expecting.

We walked silently in the safe house's hallway. It was well lit and the area is equipped with more than the basic necessities. May training room din yata sila rito and even a small arcade. It has several rooms, kung hindi ko nga alam na safe house ito ay iisipin kong bahay bakasyunan na nakatago sa karamihan ang lugar na ito.

"This will be your room," aniya at huminto sa isang pinto sa kahabaan ng pasilyo.

I saw Revon talking to someone who I didn't met earlier. He was scribbling on his notes, probably doing something related to their job. His reflex is fast and his senses always works double kaya naman mabilis niyang napansin na minamasdan ko siya. He cocked his head sidewards at sumandig sa swivel.
