Chapter 49:

“Okay, we have to be quiet, Justin will you please start singing when I open the door?” I asked Justin,

“That will be my pleasure” Justin said as I kissed his cheek. I opened the door as quiet as possible,

“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you” Justin sang, everyone started singing along. Ella sat up and rubbed her eyes. She got a huge smile when she heart which song we were singing. She clapped her hands together as we finished. I sat Luke in her bed and then pulled her in for a gigantic hug,

“Happy birthday baby” I squealed,

“Thank you mommy, I’m four!” She smiled,

“Yes you are” I told her,

“Where is my presents?” she asked and everyone started laughing,

“Sweetie we have to eat breakfast first” Justin said,

“But I want my presents first” she pouted,

“Okay you’ll get one now, and the rest after breakfast” Justin said, he really can’t stand her puppy-dog eyes,

“Justin you’re too cute, it's amazing how quickly you surrender to her” I said and kissed his cheek,

“What can I say, she is daddy’s girl, right baby?” Justin said. Ella nodded her head fast and flashed her adorable smile.

“Where is my present then?” she asked. This pulled something up from his pocket, a key,

“Daddy I don’t want your keys!” Ella said,

“Og these are not my keys, they are yours” Justin said and gave them to her,

“Justin dude, seriously a pair of keys” Za said,

“Whatever, Ella get on some clothes, and then you’re going to see what the keys are for” Justin told Ella, she nodded her head, and handed me the keys,

“Mommy what should I wear?” Ella asked me,

“For now? A pair of tights and a shirt” I told her,

“But mommy! It is my birthday” Ella complained,

“Well, even if it's your birthday you still need a bath after breakfast” I told her. She stamped on the floor and crossed her tiny arms,

“But I don’t wanna bath!” She said,

“That is not something you’re deciding, that is me!” I said to her. She groaned, but surrendered.

After she got dressedm we went downstairs, Ella was to run from me,

“What about the keys baby?” I yelled, she turned around and ran over to me, I gave her the keys and then she ran again.

“Be careful!” I said to her, she didn’t listen, she just continued to run until she fell. My eyes got wide and I quickly ran over to her. I took her in my arms, as she sobbed loudly,

“Shh baby, it’s okay” I comforted,

“I want daddy” she sobbed,

“And you’re going to get him” I said as I walked into the living room, where everyone was sitting,

“Daddy” Ella cried, she stretched her arms towards Justin, he stood up and walked over to us,

“What happened baby?” he asked her, Ella didn’t answer, she just continued to sob in Justin’s should,

“She fell, I told her to be careful, but she won’t listen” I sighed,

“It’s okay bunny, where does it hurt?” Justin asked her, she pointed at her elbow. Justin kissed her elbow and blew some air on it. Ella stopped crying and dried her tears,

“Is it okay?” Justin asked her, she nodded her head and hugged him.

Justin sat Ella down and then we all made our way outside. There in the sand stood a little electric car. I glared at Justin, he sent me a small smile,

“daddy I love it” Ella squealed,

“I’m glad you like it” he said and hugged her, Ella went over to me and gave me a hug to,

“Thank you mommy” she said and kissed my cheek. Then she went over to the car and examined it, I went over to Justin,

“Justin I thought we agreed not to give her one of these!” I said harshly,

“I wanted to make her happy” he shrugged,

“And we are with the puppy, we decided to give her a puppy!” I said and walked away.
