Wanna One Breaks Record For Most Unique Listeners In 1st Hour On Melon Following Chart Reforms
Wanna One’s “Beautiful” has broken their own record on Korea’s largest music site Melon.
The boy group’s new track “Beautiful”recorded 102,869 unique listeners in the first hour after its release on November 13 at 6 p.m. KST. The song is the title track on their new repackaged album “1-1=0 (Nothing Without You).”
This is the highest number of unique listeners in the first hour on a song on Melon since chart reforms were made on February 27 of this year, with changes mainly made to no longer support the release of music at midnight.
The previous record following the chart reform was set by Wanna One’s “Energetic,” which recorded 99,748 unique listeners in the first hour after its release on August 7.
Meanwhile, as of November 14 at 5 a.m. KST, Wanna One has completely taken over the top 10 on Melon’s realtime charts.

Wanna One has also been reigning over the realtime charts of all other major music sites since the release of “1-1=0 (Nothing Without You).”
