Wanna One’s Kang Daniel Shares He Never Expected He’d Take 1st Place On “Produce 101 Season 2”
On the August 8 broadcast of “Night of Real Entertainment,” Wanna One’s Kang Daniel modestly stated that he had not expected to come in as No. 1 on “Produce 101 Season 2.”
Wanna One’s Kang Daniel, Hwang Min Hyun, and Park Ji Hoon guested on the show that day and were given high quality beef to cook and eat during the interview.
Asked if he had expected that he would take first place, Kang Daniel responded, “Not at all. Honestly, no matter who had made it to the Top 11, it wouldn’t have been strange…” until he got distracted by the delicious meat in front of him and lost his train of thought.
He also explained that he feels famous when his mother asks him for photos and selfies so that she can send them to her friends and added that he is very happy these days.
