On August 7, Wanna One held a press conference at the Gocheok Sky Dome, where they later performed at their debut “show-con.”

When asked about how their respective agencies treated them now that they’ve debuted, Wanna One stated that there were no changes in treatment. They explained, “Even before our debut was confirmed, our agencies took good care of us, so rather than saying they treat us differently [in that manner], it feels like they treat us more like artists now.”

Wanna One made their debut on August 7 with their mini album “1X1=1 (TO BE ONE),” alongside the music video for their title track “Energetic,” which was chosen directly through fan’s votes. The mini album contains seven tracks in total, including “Burn It Up,” which was a contender for the title track, as well as “Always,” “Never,” “Pick Me,” and more.

The group has already been seeing chart-topping success with their debut release. Check out their music video here!
