On the July 3 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “Happy Together,” Wanna One talked about whether they can feel the immensity of their popularity.
Wanna One’s Hwang Minhyun said, “Before ‘Produce 101 Season 2,’ I promoted for six years as a singer,” referring to his promotions as part of NU’EST.
He continued, “I promoted for six years but never once did my parents ask me for any signatures to give to friends. I had to give them signatures to ask them to promote NU’EST.”
Hwang Minhyun then revealed, “But, recently, they called my agency, because I don’t have a cellphone, and asked if they could have 100 signatures from me. They were really happy so that made me really happy as well,” sharing his heartwarming feelings about his family’s excitement.
