"He's going to Chipotle with Shay. Why do you care."
"I don't." I reply crossing my arms. Shay does not deserve Colby. I grab my phone from the countertop and open my messages.

Around 8:00 I hear Brennen yell from downstairs. I quickly put on a thin layer of lipstick on my lips to finish my scarlet look.
Ugh I hated that book. (The Scarlet Letter.)
I grab my purse and make my way to where Brennen was waiting. He whistles as I come into view. I can't help but blush.
I wonder if Colby will think I'm cute.
God! I'm going on a date and Colby reappears!
Brennen and I walk outside to his truck and get ready to leave.
"Where do you want to eat?"
"I was thinking Chipotle."
"Cool! Let's go!"
