Admeta calmly strolls down the pathway in the back of the workshop, humming to herself before taking off her cap. She flicks her hair around before twirling the cap around her finger.

Ever since she's reconciled with Remy, the female Ember has a bounce in her step. Ten years it has been since she's seen her best friend and boy, did she miss him?

She couldn't help but be furious when he said hi to her. It was only natural. He left without a trace and left her by herself. What was she supposed to do? No matter how much she missed him, she always wanted to beat him up first before forgiving him. However, if she only knew the real reason for his departure, she wouldn't have been so angry. Sure, she would've expressed her anger but it wouldn't have been as much.

Although she was angry, she couldn't help but feel guilty herself. She found out she was Ember a year before Remy left and she didn't even tell him anything. She was so scared that something will happen to her friend if she ever opened her mouth, even though no one knew.

Admeta did try on several occasions to tell him but every time she opened her mouth, a chilling sensation washed over her and she became undoubtedly scared. Her palms would become sweaty and her heart started beating faster. The words she rehearsed suddenly disappeared from her memory.

And the worst thing about it is that Remy would notice her sudden change in demeanour and asked her if she was alright but because Remy was never one to intrude in someone's business, he often shrugged off the subject whenever Admeta said it was nothing.

The female Ember smiles to herself as she walks down a set of stairs. That's the one thing she missed the most, his nonchalance. It contrasted greatly with her loud and out-going personality and that's why they got on so well though they've known each other since they were in reception. Admeta is a tomboy, she never got on with her other classmates and she often got into fights with them, boys and girls alike and because of that no one wanted to hang around her. Even the teachers kept their distance. Her recurring fights were the result of the fact that she never had any friends. She watched other kids play with their friends and envied them for having someone to play with. Laugh with. Share with. But she had no one.

Her mother often told her to remain herself and the right people will find her but every time she remained herself, people will just cower away from her. Then one day, she was about to give up on the notion of having friends when Remy approached her at recess. She was so shocked that her natural instinct was to be rude. Even from a young age, Remy has always showed indifference to things and the way he just blinked at her after her snappy reply to his greeting had her confused.

Normally, people always ran away from her whenever she spoke them like that but he instead held out his hand and asked if she wanted to play with the Lego pieces with him. From then on they've been inseparable. They've always done everything with each other even bunk classes in secondary school. It didn't make a difference anyway, Remy always slept in his classes unless the topic that was being taught was interesting.
