Chapter 17

I flutter my eyes open to see Drake at the other end of couch his arms lay on top of the couch, his eyes fixed on the television with my legs on his lap. I move so I'm sitting up but still looking at Drake, he noticed my sudden movement, he glanced over to me and smiled, I smiled back to him and sat up with my legs hugged against my chest. I was about to say something to Drake when I hear footsteps running down the stairs, I peer around the archway to see a beaming Travis.

He was already dressed and cleaned up, he ran over to the couch and over to me, with a huge smile he just stood in front of me, "Morning Travis, may I help you?" He sat on the couch in the middle of me and Drake he sat on his knees and looked up at me,

"Mack can we have a day out today you know like the old days, and with Drake PPPPPPLLLLLEEEEAASASSSEE," I petted my invisable beard and look back down at Travis.

"I guess we could have away out, and you would have to ask Drake if he would like to come with us, I be right back I'm going to get ready," I throw the blanket that covered me over Travis's head and skipped up the stairs.

I stripped down and hopped into the steaming shower, I washed myself so I was almost sneaky clean. I jump out and grab a red fluffy towel ans wrapped myself up, i open the door into my room and went to my dresser and pick out a pair of ripped jeans and a plaid shirt, as pulled on all my clothes I look around my room for my black vans, I looked in my dresser and under my bed but i could'nt find them. i walk over to my mirror and put my hair up in a messy bun and put on some light makeup.

i stepped out of my room to be faced Stacy and Travis going at it and Drake nonchalently leaning up against the wall just smiling that charming smile and chuckling every time Stacy would roll her eyes at Travis, i walked around the two bickering sibilings. I sit, sluching against the all next to Drake, and not to soon after he slid down and placed a arm around my shouders, i nustled my head into his neck and closed my eyes and listened to Stacy scream her head off for no reason and Travis just whine.

"Shut up," I yelled over there bickering, they stopped and turned to me,"Now what's going on, and before you both started yelling again, I'm going to ask you one at a time.Now Travis what up," Travis turned to Stacy stuck out his tongue and turned back to me, cleared his throat and began his argument against Stacy.

"I simply asked her how was her sleep over when she came home, but she didn't answer so I followed her around and asked if she was alright, not in a annoying way. But then she snapped and called me a 'annoying impish devil boy who will never get friends if I keep on being annoying', so I felt hurt and I called her a whore, not on purpose it was heat of the moment."

I look over to Stacy her arms were crossed and eyes rolling at a abnormal rate, after a break Travis spoke up again,"I sorry Stacy,but your still have to say sorry to me," I nodded and looked over to Stacy,

"Travis jumped on my back when I walked I almost knocking me over, then kept asking me the same dumb question, I called him annoying then he accused me to be a whore. Now can I leave " I shooed her away and looked back over to Travis who was rocking on his feet, I grabbed his wrist and whispered into his ear,"I was on your side the whole time,."

I let go of his wrist he back up and smiled,"Travis," Drake said, "Run to the car me and your sister will be there in a sec,"Travis nodded and run down the fight of stairs, i turn to Drake with a questioned look on my face. "What do want, or shoud l I say need," he rolls his eyes and does a low chuckle then sent chills through me, i dont know why but it did.

"I dont want anything from yu i just want you to come with me somewhere," i raise one of my eyebrows on a curiuos and confused way," And where would we be going exactly?" he scratched the back of his neck in nervousness. I found that out a few years ago when we began friends if he got mad he punch a wall, got sad get a sassy attitude, nervous he scratch the back of his neck, and if he was happy he would..... well i dont know yet. He had opened and closed his mouth about 5 times before any words actually came out, " Well actually i want you to come will me two places: the first one is that little adventure we were supposed to have a few months back, into Travises room. And th secound was...well....um are you free tomorrow?"

I was taken by surprise by the secound question, we were both silent for a few secounds me thinking all that just hit me straight in the face and hm with a worry look in his eyes. Ok... yes maybe I do like Drake a little, maybe a lot more than a little, and at first we both promised that we werent going to date eachother, but over the 4 years we have became friends I've gotton to now him better as a friend and not as the big egotistical bad boy of the school. We havent really left eachothers side since then at first I thought that it was like some type of sibiling love but it kept getting bigger and stronger and i didn't really tell anyone at the time so I had to keep it a secret.

i noticed that i still didnt answer Drake question, a huge grin on my face grew, i took a deep breath and looked into Drakes eyes whos are now showing no exprssion at all. " Drake I would love to, i have been wanting to go on theat adventure into Travis's room for a while, and yes I am free tomorrow, so where is our little date going to be at?" that sparkle cam back into his eyes and a huge grin had come back to his face, godi love his smile. he picked me up and spun me around in the air, i giggled and put my arms around his neck,"Mack, you have made me the happiest guy in the world, thank so much I been wanting to ask you that question for years," he placed me back down.

We both don't stop smiling , "Hey I wnting to go out with you for years but I kept remebering that promised we made those 4 long years ago, so i didnt dare try to say anything, but know i wished i have spoke up sooner. And Drake when would you like to go join my little brother in the car." i say remeber that Travis is still in the car, he grabbed my hand and intwined his fingers with mine and pulled me down the stairs and out to the car, on the way of getting pulled I grabbed my keys,phone, and a jacket. As we step out onto the frount porch i saw Travis twidling his thumbs on the front steps, i snuck up to him,"Boo" i whispered in his ear he jumped and spun around, he smiled and ran over to the car jumping up and down like a litle kid waiting for me to unlock the car.

i walked back to the house and locked the door and jumoed down the stairs and walked over to the car it wasn't long until I was joined with Drake at my side, he slung his arm over me and walked with me over to that car. I unlock the car and Travis jumps in without a secound thought, Drakes walks out to the drivers side of the ca and gets in, he closes the car door while I walked over to the passenger side of the door,I sit own and buckle up. I turned to Drake who i just noticed mas staring at me, he reachs out his hand, i placethe keys in his hand and buckle up. From the back seat i hear Travis yell " So did you do it dude?:"

I look between Drake who was now driving down my street and near the highway, and Travis with a childish smie plastered to his face, "I did," Drake said in a calm voice but as soon as he said it he looked over at me and grinnned the grin i loved the most , it was the one that made all the girls fall to his feet but it just makes me tingle on the inside. From the backseat I hear Travis start whooping like a maniac.

I guess I finally get to have the date I always wanted with me Drake, I hope nothing goes wrong like in the past.
