He walks into the room and my face instantly lights up and my heart starts beating faster. He puts the bag down and practically runs over to me and hugs me tightly but carefully. I hug back "Baby I'm ok now, stop crying." I say fighting back my own tears. I hate seeing him cry and especially since it's about me.🙁

"I almost lost you" he says. "I should have stopped her. I saw her pull the knife out, I should have done something." He sits next to the bed with his head in his hands.

"It was not your fault. There was nothing you could do, it happened too fast." I say.

"I'm so sorry" he says.

"Don't apologise, it wasn't your fault. Besides, I'm totally fine now😅" I say.

He sighs."ok..."

"I really missed you" he says.

"I missed you too. I heard you everytime you came to visit." I smile.

"Oh so you heard everything I said?😬😅" he rubs the back of his neck.

"Yup" I say popping the p.

"Well anyways I'm just so glad you're okay" he says. "Oh, I...uh... got you some stuff" he says handing me the bag he brought in. I open it and look through the stuff.

"Aww that's so sweet, you didn't need to get me anything..." I say.

"I wanted to" he says.

I continue looking through the stuff then I see a card so I read it out loud.

Dear babygirl,
I am soo glad you're awake.
I missed you so much while you were asleep. Well, that's what I had to tell myself to go to sleep at night. I didn't even want to think about what would happen if you never woke up. I wouldn't have lasted a week...Anyways now that you're awake I'm happy again. I feel whole again❤️ And by the way as soon as you get out of this hospital you owe me a snack😉
