I sat on the window ledge, watching the sun set before my eyes. The sky transformed from a brilliant blue to a fantastic orange that mingled with reds and yellows. The sunset and sky had always been my favorite thing to write about, and I scribbled away on a blank piece of white paper. Although my thoughts couldn't help but wander to the thought of a familiar yet unique Azul shade.

I startled as the door swung open, slamming against the back wall. Ciel waltzed in, pride radiating from every inch of his being. His smirk was smug upon his features, and he rested his hands on his hips.

I quickly hid the notebook under me, sitting on it. "Ciel? What the bloody hell was that about? You nearly gave me a heart attack." I breathed, flustering.

"Guess who's the newest member of the Sapphire Owl cricket team?" he said, raising an eyebrow to accentuate his smug look.

My eyes widened. "No way!" I jumped up, grinning. "Ciel, that's amazing!" I put my hands on his shoulders, shaking him back and forth. Much to my surprise, he let me.

"Bluer said he was very impressed with my work I've been doing." Ciel said, coming to a halt as I let him go.

"Oh, Ciel!" I exclaimed, feeling pride for my friend. Being a part of the cricket tournament was a high honor; one I could only dream of. He had the chance to meet the Headmaster himself.

Suddenly it came to me.

All the inquisitive questions, all the interrogative sessions Ciel had put me through.

About the Headmaster.

Could he have planned this? Was it even possible? His fag skills were superhuman alone, surely he could pull something as mundane as joining the cricket team.

Ciel's face fell. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

I snapped out of my daze, forcing a smile. I squeezed his shoulder gently. "I just got distracted." I giggled, knowing full well I had lied. "Don't worry about it."

"You've played cricket before, right?" Ciel asked.

"You haven't?" My tone rose in shock. How was he going to be on the team if he's never played?!

"Unfortunately." he looked away now, closing his only visible eye. "You're going to teach me."

"Would it kill you to say please? Just once?" I asked, but a smile couldn't help but dance upon my lips.

Ciel shrugged once, his shoulders rising and falling softly. "I know you'd do it for me anyways."

I rolled my eyes. I felt a bit irritated, half at his sarcastic remarks, but mostly at the fact that he was right.

I would do it for him.

"Victoria," Ciel whispered in a hushed tone. I felt his hands wrap around my arm gently as he began shaking me back and forth. "Victoria. Wake up."

I groaned, rolling over to face him. What the hell did Ciel want in the middle of the night? I could only imagine.

"Wake up." he said again.

"I'm up. Now stop shaking me before I put you back to sleep." I hissed in a warning tone. It only caused him to crack a barely noticeable smile. "What do you want from me?" I moaned, rubbing my head. My hair was in messy curls around my shoulders. It felt relieving not having to wear wraps to bed around Ciel anymore, considering he knew my secret. It was freeing - both emotionally and physically.
