Chapter 39

Ginny-

Ginny sighed as she stared in the mirror and the black and white bridesmaids dress that she had been given to wear at Bill and Fleur's wedding that happened to be that day. Ginny hadn't wanted to be a bridesmaid in the first place, but she couldn't say no because her Mother really wanted her too.

"Ginny I don't know why you're moaning, you look beautiful." Hermione rolled her eye's walking into the room in a gorgeous red dress.

"Hermione! You look beautiful! I wish I had a dress like that!" Ginny cried, playing with the material on her dress.

"Be quiet Ginny, you look beautiful in whatever you wear." Hermione rolled her eyes, sitting Ginny down and beginning to straighten her hair.

"Now that's a load of rubbish." Ginny told her, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Harry doesn't seem to think so." Hermione stifled a giggle.

"Shut up Hermione." Ginny sighed, looking at her reflection in the mirror.

"I won't shut up because I know that it's true." Hermione laughed.

"Oh Ginny darling you look beautiful!" Mrs Weasley came running into the room and grabbed Ginny into a tight hug.

"Be careful Mrs Weasley! I haven't finished her hair yet!" Hermione cried.

"Sorry Hermione!" Mrs Weasley laughed, pulling away.

"Mum you act as if I'm the one getting married. Have you even been to see Fleur yet?" Ginny asked.

"Of course I have! I'm sorry Ginny! I'm just proud to see how beautiful my youngest production is!" Mrs Weasley grinned.

"Production?! I'm not some kind of scientific experiment!" Ginny rolled her eyes.

"Whatever. One day you will be getting married though Ginny. I can't wait till then!" Mrs Weasley cried, briskly leaving the room.

"You'll be waiting forever then Mum!" Ginny called after her Mother.

"Ginny you're so funny sometimes. You are so going to get married some day! What man wouldn't have you?!" Hermione rolled her eyes.

"I only have my eyes on one person Hermione. I have since I was eleven." Ginny sighed, her eyes dropping to the floor.

"Listen to me." Hermione told her, leaning down in front of her and taking her hand's, "Harry loves you. I'm not joking Ginny. After all of this is over, you two are gonna be living some where on your own together."

"Hermione I love your imagination." Ginny laughed.

"It's true!" Hermione laughed, standing back up to finish off Ginny's hair.

Once Hermione had finished, Ginny was left to her own devices so she decided to go downstairs and see if there was anything she could do to help. Ginny slowly made her way down the stairs and noticed that her dress was undone at the back. Ginny cursed slightly under her breath and walked into the kitchen where much to Ginny's misfortune, Harry stood.

"Zip me up will you?" Ginny spoke, turning her back to him and looking over her shoulder at him. Harry walked over and grabbed the material, attempting to zip up the dress. "It seems silly doesn't it, a wedding, given everything that's happening."

"That's maybe the reason why it's a perfect time to have a wedding." Harry answered, letting the material fall after he had completed zipping the dress up.

"Suppose so." Ginny shrugged, turning round to face him. It was only then that Ginny realised how close her and Harry were stood. Her heart rate began to quicken as Harry began to lean a little, his eyes on her lips. Ginny followed in suit and suddenly the butterflies that Ginny had been missing lately returned to flapping around her stomach wildly. At the bottom of her heart, Ginny knew that she shouldn't be doing this with him seeing as she was trying to get some closure between them for the time being, but she couldn't help it. This was Harry, she couldn't say no.
