Chapter 15: Accident

"So this is my house.. Duh" Nick said laughing.

We walked inside, a two story house, pretty amazing. Wooden floors, a metal staircase, a big living room with a fireplace.

"Nice" I said,

"So I will take your bags" Nick said

"I'll come with you" I said.

We walked up the stairs down the hallway, into a nice room, the walls a light blue, a bed with black sheets with really popped in the room, a small desk a bathroom with a shower.

"This is amazing" I said smiling

"Good" Nick replied.

I changed into a pair of black baggy sweatpants, and a dark grey tanktop and went downstairs.

"So wanna tell me what's on your mind?" Nick asked me.

"Did Zak want to adopt me? Or did he just want to seem like a hero?" I asked looking at Nick,

"Are you kidding? When you didn't reply to his text message he stopped the lockdown and flew out to get you" Nick said.

I looked at him,

"He loves you, so does Aaron.. And so do I" He said pulling me into a hug.

"I love you too" I said,

"Forget everything that happened today ok? You're in my arms and that's all that matters." Nick said.

"Thank you" I said.

"I'm hungry and tired" I added

"Me too" Nick said picking up his phone and calling the pizza place,

"Um yeah one extra large cheese pizza." Nick started and smiled at me.

"Ok thanks" Nick said hanging up the phone.

"Call Zak, he's probably waiting" Nick said tossing me my phone.

No reply,

"Well I think he went to bed" I said.

"Ill call him in the morning" I said smiling.

"Pizza time!" Nick said getting up going to the door, grabbing the large pizza box.

This is going to be the night to remember.

"So this is what Nick does in his free time?" I asked laughing.

"Ya" He replied.

"Well I think tomorrow we should go to the beach" Nick said sitting and looking at me.

"That would be awesome" I replied.

"I want to play a game" I said smiling.

"What game?" Nick asked,

"Battlefield?" I asked.

"Sure" Nick said pulling out two controllers and the game, We played for about an hour.

"You never told me that you were that good at sniping" Nick said,

I laughed and leaned into his chest.

"How are your eyes?" Nick asked.

"I think the doctor was,lying when he said it was temporary" I mumbled.

"Well I think it's pretty damn cool" Nick replied looking down at me.

"Ok well it's late.. Wanna head to bed?" I asked

"I'm gonna clean up but the bedroom is up the stairs and to you left in the hallway" Nick said pointing up the stairs.

"Ok" I said getting up and heading up the stairs,

"Nice" I thought once more when I walked in.

I changed into a pair of grey sweatpants with Rebel going down the side and changed into a black sports bra, I threw my hair back into a messy bun and laid under the covers slowly falling asleep. I faintly heard the door open and rustling around, I felt Nick climb into the bed, wrapping his arms around my waist and sliding me closer to him. He skin so warm I fell asleep right after that. My phone started to ring, I woke up and looked for it, Nick still wrapped around my waist. I found my phone and picked it up,

"Hello?" I asked groggy.

"I'm sorry I woke you up but something has happened" Billy said,

My eyes got watery and dark grey and blue as I felt Nick wake up,

"What happened" I asked pushing Nick awake,

He looked deep in my eyes examining what they're saying.

"It's Zak, Ashley.... He's been in a car accident" Billy said.

I froze

"Is he ok?" I asked crying

"I don't know he's in the hospital and is going into surgery... He keeps asking for you" Billy said.

"I'm on my way Billy pick me up at the airport in 6 hours" I said getting out of the bed,

"Ok see you soon" Billy said then hung up.

"What happened" Nick said getting out of the bed

"Zak's been in a car accident and needs me okay" I said panicking.

"Oh" Nick said, he ran and grabbed a duffle bag and threw clothes into it along with mine.

"Ok come on" Nick said heading downstairs,

"Nick shouldn't we change?" I asked looking down.

"It's 2 in the morning do you really think someone isn't going to think something's wrong?" Nick asked.

"Point taken" I said rushing down the stairs. We headed to the airport,

"Hi" Nick said,

The lady looked at us, Nick in a black shirt and basketball shorts and me in my Rebel print grey sweatpants and black sports bra.

"We need two tickets to Las Vegas" Nick said

"Well the next flight doesn't leave until tomorrow" the last said,

"Please it's an emergency" I said starting to tear up,

"I'm sorry there's nothing I can do" She replied.

I took out my phone and called Billy

"Billy, there isn't a flight until tomorrow at noon.." I whimpered.

"Ok here call my buddy and tell him that I sent you okay?" Billy said Texting me the number

"ok thank you Billy" I said

"No problem see you soon" he said then hung up.

I called the number,

"Hello, this is Ralf."

"Uh hi Ralf, Billy Told me to call you about getting back to Las Vegas?" I asked

"Oh you must be Ashley" Ralf said,

"Yea" I replied walking out of the airport with Nick,

"Oh ok you're at the airport now head straight and I'll be here waiting." Ralf said.

"Ok thanks Ralf" I said hanging up the phone. I walked with Nick arm in arm until we saw a guy skinny tall and black hair.

"Ashely welcome so I have something for you" Ralf said leading us in a large lot full of planes.

"Well this is Billy's private jet.. He told me about Zak so Climb on in and I will fly you into Las Vegas" Ralf said.

We all climbed into the jet and sat down as Ralf went into the cockpit.

"Damn Billy I might use this a couple times" I mumbled smiling.

"Hey" Nick said sitting next to me,

"It's going to be alright ok?" He said.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and set my head on his chest.
