Dying Embers (Ghost Adventures Nick Groff Aaron Goodwin and Zak Bagans)

Chapter 12: Caught

"So want me to call Billy?" I asked,

"Meh and Aaron, we need teams of two" Nick said

I pulled out my phone and called Aaron and Billy, shortly after I hung up and Nick looked at me.

"They're in" I said,

Shortly after I hung up, I ran upstairs and changed trying not to wake Zak. I changed into my Senior class shirt which was black with seniors in white on the back, along with my Army pants and combat boots.I, Aaron and Billy came down the stairs. We ran to the van, Billy and Aaron in the front and Nick and I in the back.

"So care to tell us how this happened?" Billy asked.

"Cookie time" I said,

"Zak know?" Billy asked

"No he can't for a little while longer." I said.

"After this investigation ok?" Nick said.

"But that's tomorrow" I said

"So?" Aaron asked.

"Fine" I said,

"Here" Billy said.

We got out of the van and went inside. We paid and went into the arsenal.

"Ok welcome Ghost Adventures Crew! We have 3 different laser guns that you can use, the first is a stationary gun it has a round of 40, and it weighs 5 pounds. Next is a pistol with a round of 8, light weight and to reload you press this button. And finally we have the sniper, this has a round of 2 and it weighs around 10 pounds, it has a reloading time of 10 seconds." the guy said,

"Ill take the regular one" I said going to one of the staff and getting set up.

I put on a bandana on my lower face that has the lower half of a skull on it. Nick took Sniper, Bill choose regular and Aaron choose Pistol.

"Let's do this I said sticking the Laser gun in the air.

As we all headed outside, Nick and I ran to one end of the industrial themed park, and Billy and Aaron ran to the other side. We leaned against a wall

"I'm going up high," Nick said pointing to the building's highest point.

"Ok I'll just have fun down here" I said smiling.

"Stay safe" I said sticking my tongue out.

Nick kissed me on the cheek as we heard Billy

"OOOH THE LOVE BIRDS" He shouted laughing.

"How can you see us?" I yelled back.

"Just guessing!" He replied.

"Ok everyone, 3.. 2..1. shoot!" The staff said.

Nick ran into the building and I ran to Billy and shot him,

"Dude!" Billy said laughing.

"Gotta win" I said running off to find Aaron.

I heard Nick shout I ran back to where he was, I ran up the stairs and found Aaron pointing his pistol at Nick. I started to laugh. When the timer was up we all went back in the van and headed back to the hotel. My phone started to play my ringtone,

"Everyone shut up its dad" I said picking up my phone.

"Hi Dad" I said

"Where are you?'' Zak asked.

"With the guys, we went out for breakfast instead" I said.

"Oh okay, see you soon?" He asked,

"Indeed" I said hanging up my phone.

When we got back to our hotel Zak was waiting with all of our luggage,

"Plane leaves in 3 hours come on" He said putting everything in the van.

On the plane I sat next to Nick as Zak and Aaron sat in front of us, and Billy had his own seat behind Nick and I. A couple times Billy would stick his hand through the Airplane seat and poke Nick or me. I started to fall asleep on Nick's chest. I saw a flash followed by Billy saying

"Oh shit!"

"Billy you taking pictures?" Nick asked in his sleepy voice that drives me insane.

My eyes started to turn purple

"Prepare for landing" the lady said.

"Ok so I will see you guys in a couple weeks?" Billy asked after another lockdown a few weeks later.

"Nah you're coming with us back to my place for a small party." Zak said.

"Ok!" Billy said smiling.

We all headed into Zak's house and Zak threw on some music and ordered pizza.

Nick and I have been getting closer and it was hard to keep it a secret, my birthday is in a few weeks so there's a plus..

But how is Zak gonna react?

"Um dad?" I asked as he came out of the kitchen.

"Yeah?" He asked back.

"I have something I want and need to tell you" I said,

I saw Billy Aaron and Nick turn around on the couch.

"And that would be?" Zak asked me.

"Well... I have a boyfriend." I said shrugging my shoulders and smiling.

Feeling my eyes turn a white color, which I guess means nervous. Zak just stared at me with a blank look.

"Dad?" I asked

"Who" He asked calmly.

Nick got up and came over by me hugging me from behind.

"You're kidding" Zak said blankly.

"No" I said.

I examined Zak's face, nothing.

"Um." he said.

He turned to Billy and Aaron.

"I'm going to ask you two to leave.. just for an hour" Zak said.

Billy and Aaron got up and left and Nick and I sat on the couch. Zak paced back and forth something I've never seen him do.

"How long" Zak asked rubbing his face and still pacing.

"Almost a month" I said nervous,

"And you didn't tell me?!" Zak yelled hurt.

"At least she's not going out with some druggie or someone else!" Nick said

Zak looked at him with hard eyes.

"How are we explaining this to Billy and Aaron!? Huh?" Zak said

"They know" I said.

"Oh how Wonderful!" Zak yelled leaning back with his arms crossed.

"Dad I'm sorry but I'm not sorry, I care about Nick and he cares about me!" I said feeling my eyes turn red

"You're not even legal yet" Zak said sighing and still hurt.

"But in a month I will be and Nick and I decided that we aren't doing anything public until after my birthday" I said calming my eyes.

Zak looked at me, as the door opened "Hey guys! How'd he take it?" Billy asked Zak looked at him with hurt eyes.

"Zak can I talk to you for a second?" Billy asked as Zak followed him upstairs.
