Wendy's Pov
I've never felt this safe again. I never thought that in this most unexpected time of my life, I'll be seeing him again for real!
The long wait has ended, I thought it will be longer than I expected. I then realize that I don't have to beg for it to happen. It just did. He's now here beside me.
"Wendy," he whispered before kissing the top of my head.
I was still sobbing so bad na hindi ko na namalayan na pinagmamasdan na pala kami ng mga trabahante dito. I didn't care though all of my attention was put in front of me.
"I missed you sweety," he whispered as my hug tighten around his waist.
Nakita ko din kung paano napangiti si Mom nang makita kaming nagyayakapan. Hindi ko na alam kung ilang minuto kaming naging ganoon lang kahit na sa totoo ay wala naman talaga akong pakealam.
All my thoughts where all about my father who's now in front of me. Na ngayon ay yakap ako at muling naramdaman ang kanyang presensya.
"I missed you too," I sobbed.
I saw the wrinkles on his face. I can feel his tiredness, the dark circles under his eyes were showing, the reason why I somehow pity my father for working so hard and can't even manage to take good care of himself anymore.
His hair were now mixed with some grey color. I even noticed that he became thin with all his working. He's wearing a white button down shirt and black pants.
Despite how old Dad has become, his presence remained intact as people couldn't recognize his real age. They would say that he's young.
"How long have you been here?" I said ng tuluyan na nga kaming makapasok sa office.
Mom couldn't hide her smile as we were again complete. Mismong ako ay hindi ko maiwang ngumiti dahil sa mili naming pagsasamang tatlo.
"I just came home today. I told your mother to surprise you," ani Dad at hinawi ang takas kong buhok sa mukha.
We are now sitting on a huge sofa inside the office. Habang si Mom naman ay may biglang tinawag mula sa labas para siguro magpahatid ng pagkain at inumin.
"And it worked. Na surpresa nga ako," I said and sheepishly smiled at him.
Kahit na ngayong naka-upo kami. I still couldn't process the thought that he's here again.
"The food will be here in any minute now. Gutom na ba kayo?" Si Mom ng may masayang ngiti sa labi.
She's now behind my father helding his shoulder. Napangiti din tuloy si Dad dahil sa ginawa.
"I told your Dad to wait you to go home. Mukhang hindi na makapag-antay at dito ka na sinurpresa," si Mom.
"Pauwi na din naman ako kanina. Akala ko nga may naging problema dito," I said.
"Your Mom told me that you went on a practice. I was telling her that I should pick you up after but she refused. She doesn't want me to ruin your moment with that guy."
Kung kanina ay halos hindi mawari ang ngiti sa aking labi. Ngayon ay halos hindi na ako makagalaw sa kinauupuan. He knew! And did just Mom told him about Rad?
"A-ah. Nagpractice po kami kasi I'm already part of the band!" I nervously said.
I know that Dad has an idea about me having a crush. Hindi naman ito big deal sa kanya kasi minsan na niyang nasabi sa akin na parte ito ng buhay.
