Bible Dissection - Seize the Opportunity

"And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. She came up behind him [Jesus] and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. "Who touched me?" Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, "Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you." But Jesus said, "Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me." Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. Then he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace."

This woman had been bleeding for twelve years, and she couldn't find anyone to heal her condition. You ladies can only imagine........

But then Jesus came to town. And not only did this woman see Jesus, she saw an opportunity for healing.

And she took it.

To me, that shows just how great, how genuine her faith was.

Today, we are given SO many opportunities for healing, yet because our faith is so little and so weak, very few of those opportunities are ever taken. Our focus is gone. Our trust is not fully in God. And then we continue to wonder why we feel so broken and like we never get anything out of God's word.

It's like someone buying you something you really need and then you denying it. Why on God's green earth would you do that?!?

Starting today, let's ALL set out to start seizing those opportunities! You never know, it will most likely be someone else's healing too! God's pretty cool like that! He's a "kill two birds with one stone" type of guy! Haha!

I am doing a study over having a genuine faith, and guys let me say, I honestly feel like... Well, a new person!! I feel a lot closer to God and a lot stronger in my relationship and my faith. I've also just been super happy and optimistic all of the time! It's crazy how your spiritual life can affect the rest of your life and emotions! I love love love it!!

You guys should do some personal studies and Bible challenges of your own!! I promise you, it is so worth the time!! And it doesn't even have to be much time! All I do is read a passage in the Bible over faith and think about what it means and boom! Simple as that! Of course, you have to do it with sincerity and with the mindset of "I am going to get something great out of this today!!" for it have to any affect at all. So try it! Also, if you're planning on doing a study over faith, stay in check with the Bible verses I post (the book: A Scripture A Day Keeps The Devil Away) because a lot of them will probably go along with the study and explain them a bit possibly! Plus, everybody needs to read their Bible! Remember that! It's vital!!!!
