natalie's pov

jack was called back into work earlier this morning and that was shitty.

hailey had came over unexpectedly, and late, but it was nice. i haven't seen her in awhile.

"what have you been up to lately?" i asked her, getting out tea and two glasses.

"nothing really." she shrugged her shoulders.

i sat a glass of tea in front of her, "well th-" my phone went off, cutting me off.

i grabbed it from the kitchen counter behind me and seen it was a text from an unknown number.

unknown- hey it's madison. i heard jack proposed and you guys had twins, congrats!!

"um" i stuttered before showing hailey my phone.

"how'd she get your number?" hailey asked, just as utterly confused as i was.

i shrugged my shoulders before texting her back.

natalie- thanks. how'd you get my number?

madison- jack just gave it to me, i hope you don't mind?

i furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, i'll just talk to jack later? idk.

i turned my phone off and looked up at hailey, who was smiling at me.

"what?" i chuckled.

"look in the oven."

i scrunched my nose up, but walked towards the oven, opening it.

inside was a, bun?

oven with a bun? bun inside the oven? bun in the o- "BUN IN THE OVEN, YOU'RE PREGNANT!" i exclaimed.

she nodded her head and i hugged her. "yay! congrats!" i cheered.

"me and johnson got it confirmed yesterday." she said teary eyed.

"i'm so happy for you guys!" i cheered again.

we talked for awhile longer before she had left. i decided to text jack and see what was going on.

natalie- are you coming home soon? i miss and love you!!

i sent the text and waited for a reply.

it was now around 10:30, the boys were put to sleep awhile back.

jack still hasn't gotten home yet, so i guess i'm just gonna sit here and wait.

i smiled and squinted my eyes, not fully awake still.
