dear Arix,
Oliver and i have hung out another time after the twenty-first; we went to a pizza place which his grandparents own and we made our own pizza. it was really cool.
Grace came to my house for dinner tonight and her and i were talking after dinner, about you, actually.
Grace: "how are you doing? with Arix, i mean. she's awful everyday; how are you taking it?"
me: "just fine. yeah, she's a bitch to me. and you. but i ignore her. i try to, at least."
Grace: "i don't understand what made her change so...drastically."
me: "it makes me sad to think about what we would do to make Arix happy. anything, really."
Grace: "it's okay. we have each other."
what i said was true, Arix. Grace and i would've done anything to make you happy, to respond to your demands. that was at the end; before, you were kind and loving and loyal. what changed?
