dear Arix,
i didn't get time to finish what happened at the corner store yesterday on account of having to go to bed, so i'll tell you now.
so as you know, Oliver Porter spun around from behind the counter and he was all smiley and shit until he saw me, then his smile faltered and he seemed shocked but then it came back stronger then before.
him: "hi! you're Paige, right?"
me: "uh, yeah. hi. you work here?"
him: "yup. comin' on about a month now."
me: "cool..."
him: "so, you wanted the job?" he gestured to the sign on the window.
me: "what? oh, yeah. if it's still available."
him: "it is. let me just call the boss."
he went into the back room and I heard some voices. he came back out with a lady around the age of fifty or so, with slight creases around her mouth and eyes. she smiled at me.
basically, she interviewed me and yeah, Arix, i got the job. and yeah, i'm working with Oliver. take that.
-Paige
