It was a typical morning. I was sitting in the assembly our school had every year before we went on Thanksgiving break. I was talking to my friend of over a year, telling her how I was attracted to both guys and girls. She said I was possibly bisexual but I wasn't sure.

I had a crush on this girl for a while. I hadn't really accepted it until that moment. While I'll keep her name anonymous, I always thought we were so alike. We both had very similar interests that had drawn us to being friends in the first place.

While I was on Thanksgiving break, this girl found out who I had a crush on. She knew it was female but didn't know exactly who. My phone had been dead so I hadn't received her texts. When I did, she admitted that she had liked me for a while. I told her that I had a crush on her, too. Ever since then, we've been dating and I couldn't be happier.

We've had some rough patches. We've broken up at least once but we've gotten back together. We have a more honest relationship and a more relaxed one now as well.
